Future Hall Of Famers On StreetGCobb Blog Tuesday, March 10th, 2009
For those of you still hurting from the departure of Brian Dawkins, Tra Thomas and probably Jon Runyan, you need to take a look at what's going on around the rest of the NFL.
Orlando Pace and Torry Holt of the St. Louis Rams have been locked out of Rams offseason worlkouts. Both Holt and Pace are borderline Hall Of Famers, who led the Rams to two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl championship.
The players want to practice and workout with the rest of their teammates but the Rams have made it fairly clear that they want to move on without them.
Earlier this afternoon, the Rams have decided to release Pace.
Derrick Brooks of Tampa Bay is still on the street and interested in playing more football . “I’ve still got the Jones to play,” Brooks, who turns 36 on April 18, told NFL.com. “I committed myself to playing one more year. I had one more year left on my contract before I was released. I wanted to finish that out and get to 15. Getting to 15 is still my plan.”
