Finally the Truth, McNabb Didn’t Puke In The Super Bowl

After years of talk about Donovan McNabb puking in the Super Bowl, we find out that he didn’t puke but was gasping for air after being hit by New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Brusci.

It’s all spelled out in an article by Peter Mucha on Philly.com.¬† My question is why did it take five years for the article to be written.

This brings back memories of that game and the post game foolishness which contributed to a major drop in McNabb’s popularity and has led us here to all the talk about the Eagles trading him.

I remember Eagles center Hank Fraley being on WIP after the game talking about how McNabb couldn’t call the play in the huddle and how he had to let Freddie Mitchell call the play.

I was surprised that during Fraley’s appearance he wasn’t asked about how he was getting his butt kicked the entire game by the Patriots’ Richard Seymour.¬† Every time the Eagles tried to run the ball, Seymour was tackling Brian Westbrook in the backfield after beating Fraley.

McNabb Everybody was trying to find out whether McNabb threw up or not but nobody talked at all about the beating McNabb took and how poorly the middle of the offensive line played.

Bruschi hit McNabb under the chin on the second play of the game as well as they late shot to his gut.

Of course it was accepted as a given truth, that McNabb threw up despite the fact that there were no shots of him throwing up on any pictures or videos of the game.

Somehow despite all of the 1000’s of cameras taking pictures and shooting video at the Super Bowl, there were no pictures of McNabb throwing up.¬† That fact has been totally ignored by all of the “journalists” for years.

McNabb denied it but that was also ignored and his puking was still accepted as fact.

At least the truth has finally come out, but the real truth is that it’s about five years late.
