Teams all over the NFL are shuffling rosters in order to get down to the 75-man limit. The Eagles are no different and they made some moves today that aren’t all that shocking.
They put Victor Abiamiri on reserve/PUP, which means that he won’t be available until Week 7 at the very least. It’s [...]

After watching the Eagles offense work today at the Nova Care Complex, I’ve changed my mind about them not playing the starters on Thursday night for a quarter. I know about Andy Reid’s formula of preparing for a season, but this is a completely different team than he’s had in the past.
It seems that [...]

During this past off season I heard people comparing Eagles new starting quarterback Kevin Kolb to Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. After six quarters of preseason action, I’ve heard his detractors comparing him to Bobby Hoying. It’s way too early to give the thumbs up or thumbs down on Kolb.
It’s too early to say he’s [...]

At times there are players who live on an island by themselves. They don’t have close friends on the team and nobody is able to reach them. Certain players are never seen talking to their teammates and laughing or discussing things with them. This seems to be the case with Eagles Pro Bowl left tackle [...]

As the days and weeks wind down before training camp opens in September, the list of available free agents begins to dwindle down to the underachievers, injury question marks, over-the-hill veterans and occasional diamonds in the rough.
It was announced today that forward Lee Stempniak signed with the Phoenix Coyotes and left winger Tim [...]

Eagles center Jamaal Jackson spoke to the media after passing a serious test by going through his first practice in pads, since he injured his knee last year against the Seattle Seahawks. Although he’s pleased with his progress, the veteran center wasn’t quick to guarantee that he was going to be playing in the first [...]

Anybody who is familiar with the way Andy Reid uses his running backs, knew that LSU rookie running back, Charles Scott was going to be a long shot to make this football team.
When the OTA’s started the Eagles coaching staff worked with him diligently concerning his pass catching and route running skills. They knew [...]

The Eagles have a problems at their right guard position and it’s going to require a tough decision. Starting guard Stacy Andrews isn’t getting the job done and I don’t know that he’s ever going to be able to get it done.
Andrews doesn’t seem to have recovered from his knee injury. He doesn’t have any [...]

The Philadelphia Eagles second and third-teamers will take all of the plays on Thursday night against the New York Jets but they didn’t get much work in preparation for the game at the Eagles practice, yesterday.
Andy Reid may talk like everything is fine with his offense and there’s no reason for panic, but 80% of [...]

The Flyers announced last Wednesday that they signed defensemen Logan Stephenson, Jesse Dudas, and goaltender Nicola Riopel to AHL contracts.
Dudas was at the Prospect Camp in July on a tryout basis and will finally be making the jump to the AHL, after seasons in the WHL, ECHL, IHL, and CHL leagues. Credit [...]
