WR Brian Quick played for my Hometown University (Appalachian State University in Boone,NC) and I have followed and watched him mature as a player over the last 3 years . He does not have great initial speed off th eline of scrimmage but can get his motor going as he gets down the field and uses those long strides of his.. He has great hands and body control and has a great knack of timing his leaps/jumps at th eright moment for catching the ball.. At 6-4 1/2 225lbs he reminds me of a young Randy Moss and Sydney Rice.. He needs to work on the intermediate route running and getting in and out of his breaks as all young Receivers do.. In the Red-Zone, this guy is almost undstoppable if the ball is anywher near him and he has large hands a strong lower boddy to shield away defenders.. I really hope the Eagles use one of their 2 2nd Round Picks to grab him for I expect him to be gone by the end of the 2nd Round or very early in the 3rd at the latest
As far as his personality he's a little on the quiet side, hard working and goes about his business, he doesn't mind blocking and mixing it up and is definitely not a diva type like so many other Recievers are... Remember this name for I think the sky's the lime on Brian Quick and I reallly hope the Eagles grab him..( I also have been hearing the Panthers,Redskins,Patriots,Titans,Browns and Rams are also very high on him too) and can all use big a physical WR. .

I'd rather spend the $$ on a top 6 rookie WR/good FA (think big physical guy who can go up and fight for ball) than on DJax whose only attribute is his speed - not his hands, route running ability, or physicality or jumping ability. There are WR's (draft/FA) who've proven to catch a ball with a Dback all over them... DJax gets pushed/bumped off too easily. Tired of this Eagle philosophy of focusing on speed guys when the game is still about physicality/toughness.

eagles- i dont fully agree. I would not say "money" but instead the word "worth". Listen to what many of the players that have left have said about signing the big contract elsewhere. You will hear a common thread among almost all of them. Take Ike reese for example. He was honest and said that he knew he wasnt really worthy of the starter role. He was a GREAT role player and knew what he was doing when he left. They moved on from Dawk because he was injured.... he was struggling on the field. He was not the dawk of old. Now.... fast forward to now..... Dawk has played much much better. we dont know what dawk would have signed for.... and it looks like they goofed at that one...... but its not just about money... its about worth.

I Like it Turk..
I really think Joe Adams can be the next D-Jax in the NFL and better, ..He goes at a solid 185-190lbs and does not shy away from contact like D-Jax does
