Both Roseman And His Draft Picks Need To Step Up Their GameBREAKING NEWS, Eagles, Front Office, News Friday, February 24th, 2012
“To tell you that we know exactly what they’re going to be at this point, they know that they’ve got to step up their game and they’re looking forward to it, but the work ethic is there. They want to be great players and we’ve seen it out of them”. This is what Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman told Philly.com’s Jeff McLane in talking about Brandon Graham and Nate Allen.
The truth of the matter is that he could be very well bd talking about himself and his entire scouting staff. Right now as onlooker, couldn’t you say we don’t know exactly what Roseman and his scouting staff are going to be at this point. We could say that the GM and his scouts need to step up their game.
As for the work ethic, It doesn’t matter if it’s there or not because if they keep drafting the wrong players, then it’s time for them all to go.
The guys up 95 in North Jersey have won another Super Bowl title and the drafting of General Manager Jerry Reese has been a big part of it.
In the first title run, they had rookies all over the place making contributions. Remember the rookie years of wide receiver Steve Smith, tight end Kevin Boss, running back Ahmad Bradshaw, cornerback Aaron Ross, and long snapper Zak DeOssie.
Smith and Boss are no longer on the ball club, but the Giants continue without missing a beat. A lot of the credit has to go to Reese, the guy making the decisions on New York’s players.
