Eagles Announce Their Training Camp Schedule

There will be a lot on the line when Andy Reid and the Philadelphia Eagles start their summer training camp on July 22nd at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  The team’s rookies will get the chance to learn the ropes for a few days by themselves before the vets arrive, which will give them a better than to show their skills.

Joining the rookies will be Michael Vick and the other quarterbacks, along with veterans who suffered injuries a year ago and are trying to get back on the field.

On July 25, the rest of the team will show up and things will get very serious rather quickly as players battle for positions in the roster.  The team will be out there until August 15.

We’re going to get a good look at this year’s rookies on May 12th when they go through their first workout as Eagles.  The veterans will join the rookies for workouts starting on May 22nd and finishing up on May 24th.

The other OTA workouts will take place from May 30th to June 1st and June 4th through 7th.

The entire team will workout for the final team prior to the July training camp on June 12, 13 and 14.

Some Football News,
Buffalo BIlls released 9 Year Vet CB Drayton Florence (6-0 195lbs)
in a Salary Cap move as the BIlls drafted some young CB (Stephon GIlmore)
where he would probably be a back-up on the BIlls.. I’ve always liked Florence and he could be a nic epick-up for someone and probably would not cost too much.. Maybe the Eagles can pick him up nad convert Curtish Marsh to Safety as a thought.. Marsh is 6-0 200lbs and has the body type to put on another 5-10 lbs and is cuurrently bigger that J Jarrett is who goes about 5 10 1/2 and 190lbs ..

the only thing i remember of Marsh was that awful return pass lateral in the Miami game that he dropped for a fumble –

At least with Romney as POTUS, his Personal LImo Service can drive you and your friends up to Lehigh and back for Summer Camp 2013 ..
Go Romney in 2012 (chances are, it could be Newt Gingrinch driving the Limo)

Patriots to announce signing of Free-Agent RB J Addai to give them veteran RB experience. Patriots this off-season ,on offense have signed WR Brandon Lloyd, Donta Stallworth, Anthony Gonzales,Jabar Gaffney, reworked deals with Ocho Cinco,Deon Branch, and still have Wes Welker to sign plus Justin Edelman plus whatever young WR’s they had last year or invited to camp this season.. You have to think that 2- of these Veteran WR’s are not going to make the final cut for them.. plus their 2 Stud TE’s in Gronkowski & Hernandez… Add OG Robert Gallery and now RB Addai, this Patriot Offense will be tough to Stop which allowed them to Draft all for Defense this Draft
