Can The Sixers Force Game 7?

On night when Kevin Garnett scored 20 points but wasn’t a major factor, Ray Allen was quiet, and Paul Pierce wasn’t noticeable either you’d think it would add up to a Sixer W. Well, obviously that is wrong.

His name is Brandon Bass. If you did not know his name, you surely do now. The dude outscored the Sixers in the third quarter himself. He had 18 and the Sixers had 16. He basically put the Sixers away himself. He had to have at least five dunks in that quarter, thanks in large part to Rajon Rondo. Rondo was doing his thing as usual, getting into the lane and causing havoc. That pass he threw when he was falling to give Greg Stiemsma an easy dunk was just flat out nasty.
The Sixers seemed to be in control for about half of the game. Then Pierce got called for a clear path foul on Andre Iguodala. The Sixers could have extended their lead to as much ten, only to have Iggy miss two foul shots and turn the ball over on five straight possessions after that. The Celtics never looked back after that, out scoring the Sixers 54-35 in the second half.
The Sixers tried to gather themselves, but they never could. They were in rush mode after that and went into one of their familiar shooting slumps. They couldn’t knock down a jumper or a lay-up that feels like for hours. Hey man, what are you going to do? Sixers had their opportunities but did not capitalize.
I am going to try not to sound like a homer, but how bad was the refereeing? Just awful. It is a joke when Turner drives the lane and gets hit about three times, there is no call. Pierce drives lane, maybe gets a love tap and yells. He gets the call. That fourth quarter was a joke. I was really surprised that Doug did not get kicked out. He ended up getting a technical foul, though I would have gotten kick out myself. Listen, the Sixers were not going to win this game but there was no need for the refs to add to it. The call that I have seen all year-long that I will never understand is when the ref waits to see if the player will make the shot. If he doesn’t, then they blow the whistle. Huh? I really will never understand that call.
Do the Sixers force a Game 7? This series has been so back and forth, with no team grabbing the momentum. Every time it seems one of them have it the other team says, “Ummm, no you don’t”. So if the series continues to play out that way I say the Sixers will force a game 7. All honesty though, who really knows.
A couple of keys for Game 6 could be getting Lavoy Allen more time. He only played 18 minutes while Spencer Hawes played nearly 25 minutes. I will never understand that move by Collins. Allen has been your best big-man all series long. I know Brand had a solid game but he is so banged up you really don’t know what you are going to get. Another key is for the Sixers is to try to play a complete game for the love of God. They haven’t had one during the playoffs. They have had some great halves, but that’s it. The last time they had a complete game was probably two months ago. One last thing, Sixers please try to keep Rondo out of the lane as much as possible. Since this might be the last game of the year all I ask of them is for them to go down fighting. Here’s wishing for a Game 7.

Are we still not tired of Evan Turner? This moron has literally cost us a couple of rallies already when he tries to force an underhand scoop fadeaway againt three defenders in the paint!

I’m tired of this idiot missing wide open jumpers and forcing stuff that is NOT there!!

Can’t wait to get rid of this idiot.

BoB, I’m with you, bruh. IMHO, there isn’t 1 player on this roster, that is untradeable. THIS TEAM NEEDS TO BE BLOWN UP!

They certainly can and i feel will force a game 7. They have proven they can not only play with the celts, but they can beat these guys. They win tonight in philly forcing a game 7 in boston. We just need a better effort on defense and consistent scoring on offense.

About the heat’s blowout win lastnight. Those hard fouls on the heat’s part were necessary because the pacers are trying to take Bron Bron and Wade out of the series. I like the Haslem foul because it was a retaliation to the hard foul on Wade by Tyler Hansbough, then the D Pittman hit to Lance Stephenson’s throat was clearly in retaliation to Stephenson’s throat taunt to Bron Bron after he missed 2 FTs (funny how pittman aimed for lance’s throat haha). I love it. Not that i want guys to get hurt, but there are consequences for your actions and the pacers are feeling it now. They have been abusing Bron Bron and Wade all series long and thought it was going to go unanswered. Then you have Danny Granger who has been trying to get in a fight with Wade and Bron Bron all series and it didnt work, he made himself look like a scared, intimidated petulant child who has to use scare tactics to make himself unafraid and it did not work and look where his stupidity got him, a spained ankle and wont be healthy for the rest of this series. This team is finished. This series is over tomorrow night. Book it

Another conspiracy by NBA COmmish Stern and the TNT Network for paying
off the Pacer Coaches adn players to lay down to the Heat.. WHat an embarrasment.. same thing with the 76ers verus the Celtics..
To be honest, This years Playoffs have been some the worst Series in recent memory.. Lots of 4-1 Series Wins, lots of low scroing ugly games.. The NBA has decided the old versus the new
In the West its the Spurs (old) vs the Thunder (new)
IN the East, it will be the Celts (old) vs the Heat (new)

It’s all been decided and the only still excited about these Playoffs is JH..
