Dion Lewis Quickly Apologizes For His Foolish Behavior

Earlier this week,  Eagles backup running back Dion Lewis was arrested for pulling a fire alarm at a Hampton Inn in his hometown of Albany, New York.   He clearly made a foolish error by pulling the alarm, but I give him credit for quickly apologizing for his foolish decision.  He’s wisely getting ahead of the story, then admitting poor judgement.

“It was never my intention to cause any public alarm or damage any property. I am sorry for any embarrassment and inconvenience that my actions have caused,” Lewis said in a release issued by the Eagles Monday afternoon. “I am committed to continuing to conduct myself in conformance with the high moral, ethical and professional standards that I have my entire life and of which so many others rightly expect of me. Because the matter is still in the hands of the court system, I cannot comment any further.”

Lewis’ hearing was supposed to take place today, but was pushed back to next week. on Facebook

  1. He failed to point out that he was locked out of the Hotel and that he just about banged the glass doors down before pulling the fire alarm to get back to the Staff who was on duty and whowouldn’t let him back in for his uruly behavior ..I guess he’ll mention that next press-conference..

  2. This guy is a loser. Fake ass Darren Sproils. Eagles need a real returner.
