Eagles acquired CB Kevin Thomas and a 2013 seventh-round pick from the Colts in exchange for LBs Moise Fokou and Greg Lloyd.
Thomas was a 2010 third-round pick despite an injury-marred career at USC. He played 39 percent of the defensive snaps last season after losing his rookie year to an ACL tear. Although the Eagles have a surfeit of candidates for the slot, they had a need for a backup of Thomas’ size on the outside.

I’ve been avoiding the birds because it’s just camp and the only two things at are important are: 1. Is Castillo a real coordinator and 2. Is Vick a real qb….they seem pretty solid otherwise

It’s not all on one player Defensively.. It takes all 11 to play well and as a unit and fly to ball.. I believe the play of the CB’s (Asmo/DRC) will be the most critical component on how well this Defese can really be..
