We heard this at the beginning of last season. He needs to learn the fundamentals of being a defensive coordinator. He wasn’t that good of an offensive line coach.Casey Matthews is still a guy stuck in the mud. DRC is an idiot. What happened to the four game winning streak last year that would carry over to this year. How do you forget to tackle or suck at it at this level.

I’m with you Songs. Burfict will be a serious beast in the NFL. Marvin Lewis is a defensive genius who drafted ray lewis and he knows how to scout the best defensive players.

Thought I would give you a Burfict Report.

The Bengals may end up benefiting from Burfict’s slide.

After Cincinnati signed Burfict as an undrafted free agent, he proclaimed himself a steal, and Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said there was no down side to signing him.

The up side is that Burfict has the talent to be a solid NFL linebacker, and Albert Breer of NFL Network reports that Burfict has done plenty to change the negative perceptions of him so far in training camp.

Burfict, who showed up to the Scouting Combine out of shape, has lost weight and looked good on the practice field, and he hasn’t been a problem child off.

Good tackling in his debut and ended the night with an interception.

Demeco Ryan did absolutely nothing in his debut.

I’ll keep you posted on a weekly basis.

Remember…Paulman said Burfict would be a bust and would not make it in the NFL.

One game in he’s better than our broken down former pro bowler at MLB.

So, why did we trade up for Brandon Graham again? Philip Hunt is way better than Graham…The draft that yielded Graham & Nate Allen 1&2 put the Eagles back a few years.
What a bogus draft at the top half.

I disagree G-Cobb. I feel the d-line hangs everyone else to dry by just worrying about sacks. If its a run the d-line could care less, they leave the LBs and safties hang out to dry against the olineman the d-line failed to hold up. Yeah the dline looked good and got pressure on 20 plays. But the other 40 plays they are not accountable for? How about they scrap the wide 9 and play the run, pass and screen on EVERY play. Dont we have enough talent to do that?
