Watkins, Avant ,Kafka and Harbour are bad football players & am glad to see draft picks( Kelly, Johnson, & Foles) pressure them for time — I haven’t seen anything positive in Harbour’s game either and am disappointed the Eagles didn’t bring in anyone to challenge him
LT and RG both need help from skill position players to block — it is going to be a painful year for Mike Vick & Shady McCoy ——– the sooner the Eagles pull the plug on Danny Watkins the better off the team will be

Trading Winston Justice was Howie Roseman’s best move as a GM—he had a terrible contract for a non-starter that meant it was cheaper to keep him than cut him and somehow Howie got out of it. M. Fokou was horrible as an Eagle starter last year, He started 7 games and was just too slow; you bring in 2 LB like Ryans & Kendricks 2 must go ( Roseman did a good job getting something for them)

Anyone notice Former Eagles players played pretty well last evning for the Colts
RT Winston Justice held his own in pass-protection for QB A Luck going against Lamar Woodley for most of the 1st Half and the Colts gained some short-yardage and a TD running right behind him in the Red-Zone..
LB M Fokou and F Lloyds played ILB Positions as the COlts have gone to a Base 3-4 Scheme and made some playes, Each had 3 Tackles playing on the 2nd String for teh COlts and I would expect Fokou to have a real shot of sticking since the COlts Starter ILB Pat Angerer is out for about 4-6 Weeks..

Eagles also have OT’s Tom Welch and DJ Jones on their Rosters..
When looking around the NFL and wating Pre-season Games, you could almost say every team is in need of OT… Pats are struggling with their LT, Jets LT is getting his doors blown off, Steelers still have no Starting LT.. Arizona lost their aStarting LT (Levi Brown) for the Season, Redksins have no Starting RT.. Ravens are struggling at OT so it’s not like there are going to be many if any, quality OT’s on the Waiver/Release lines..
Watkins has nothing to fear from Kelly who canno play OT at this stage of his career so they are playing him at Guard to justify a Roster SPot for Him..
I would not be so surprised to see Danny Watkins eventually playing outside at OT (which he played for his 2 years at Baylor)
