Jake Long is a FA next year. I am sure he will be glad to leave that shit hole and play for a better team. There are not any good safeties but we could try Sheldon Brown at FS next year if Allen proves he can’t play or tackle well.

I have to start looking at the 2013 FA list already for LT and safety. At Least Jeffrey painted himnself into a corner and cannot find an excuse to bring AR back after he goes 6-10 this year. And he is in win now mode and has a lot of talent here so he will not bring in another assistant next year. He will want a proven commodity. And they have tons of money so look for Gruden to be the man. He would also love the job because he will be sure he can win a trophy with this talent Reid has squandered proving himself to be a genius and loved eternally in Philly. Gruden’s huge ego would be on steroids.

For those of you disgusted by the horrific pass to run ratio there is good news. Next year Gruden will realize that this line can’t pass block and that his QB is inexperienced and that he has TWO really good RBs. He will run about 45% of the time like he did with Watters when he was here and had Rodney Pete. He will pass more as he realizes that his QB knows how to get the ball out of his hand quickly and he gains more confidence in the youngster.
He will also probably sign a stud FA LT because he will be smart enough to realize that Peters is finished as a LT and he will put Peters on the right side and move Herremans back to OG and bench/cut Watkins since he is a bust. We should go 10-6 and get back in the playoffs in Gruden’s first year. We will draft a corner in the first round to replace Nnamdi since they are not paying him 15 Mil next year to be average. They will also sign a good FA safety if Nate Allen does not have a breakout season this year.

The decision by Pat Shurmur to not go for two was inexcusable. But it perhaps spoke of the lack of confidence he had in his offense against the Eagles D. But it’s not like the offense wrapped up an 80 yd drive with a TD and then decided to kick. their offense was shut down for most of the game so Shurmur took the points. No matter, I still thought it was the wrong decision.

Also kinda lucky that the Browns head coach is stupid.

10-6 Eagles and Browns had 4th and 1 on the 4. Kicked FG. I thought that was a bad decision that heped the Eagles.

Later, Browns score their TD to go up 15-10, but then didn’t try for 2 conversion.

Wouldn’t overtime have been fun? Vick and Wheeden doing everything in their power to give the ball to the other team for 15 mins.

Cripes Zoltek, I care about how bad he played, because his 4 picks are what made that game close. It really shoulda been 5 picks but the Browns defender dropped a ball right in his hands. People are upset because you project that type of performance against a better team (like Balt) and the Birds are gonna get pummeled. The O line did not play well, they threw the ball a lot. Both are true, but he made some throws/decisions that a vet QB shouldn’t make.

Do I really have to spell that out for you? If you want to defend him fine, but you also need to be honest when he plays like crap like he did yesterday.

OK everyone that ripped me a new one about defending VICk and how he is the one to lead this offense…. KISS MY ASS hahahahahah!!! you believe in him now? All the talk about reading defenses was CRAP all talk likei said. YOU saw Foles pick the same team apart first string defense or not he didnt look like that. Vick should have been benched. WWHATCH WHAT THE RAVENS WILL DO TO US.

Denny you have zero credibility since u hate vick.I on the other hand dont love or hate him, im down the middle. The coaching staff threw the ball 56 times with a lead , are u kidding me!!!!mccoy is the best player on the team, not vick. he should get the most touches..This coach and his philosophy will never win a championship. Never!!! But anyway 10-6 relax its game one, and we won

if vick threw for 300 yards, 3 tds, and 1 int.. and with 1:40 left threw an incompletion on 4th and 7 and they lost the game. Everyone would of killed him… so why would anyone care about anything except a game winning drive? if he threw 4 picks in a playoff game, and led the team down the field to win it in the end, who would care about the INTs?

besides throwing some terrible passes, I thought he played better than last year. He got down when he ran, threw balls away and made some really nice throws besides the picks (and yes he made plenty of bad ones).

That’s hilarious. His first game is his best game as an Eagle. Also his worst game, but it certainly felt more like something you’d want to use “best game” to describe.

Vick, he probably had his worst game as an Eagle. Oops.
