Nope you dumb *uck. Benching Mathews took a player off the field. Having 1 less LB on the field (amazin or ‘ass’) does not make a better “d”.

Plain and simple.

Bringing in Ryans, Cox, Kendricks, having more time to heal for Graham, Allen, Coleman, Brining in Bowles, having a full offseason, more time for Castillo – THOSE THINGS MADE THE D BETTER.

Paulman, that’s a very dumb joke and you’re not funny. It has nothing to do with where they’re lining up. It has everything to do with improved DL play with cox and landri, more time in Washburn’s system, more practice with a full offseason, DEMECO RYANS, MICHAEL KENDRICKS, DRC in the right place, and more heatlh on the D.

Paulman’s notes to Castillo on having the LB’s play closer to the line of scrimmage and be in an attack mode rather than 4-5 yards behind the DL has helped.

This defense was horrible last year when it came to fundamentals like tackling. It was embarrassing to watch and cheer for. Look what happens to a defense when you actually put some real linebackers on it…Eagles fans have been begging for years to get some talent here. No I’m not talking about an over the hill Takeo Spikes. Ryans is the real talent…Even if he is not making the plays he is running the defense like a QB.

Kendricks may be the most indispensable player on the D for us and he is only 2 games into his career…BEAST

Did anyone catch Samuel’s tackling on Monday night football? Hey I like the guy but he never even uses his arms or hands to knock someone down. All he uses is his helmet which usually ends up being a flag or a missed tackle most of the time…

DRC might not be the best tackler either but the guy can flat out cover a WR. Thats good enough for me..I knew DRC would play all out this year due to his contract year. Will be interesting to see what happens with his contract. I don’t think you can let him walk since Nnamdi is already up there in years. And I don’t think the Eagles will.

Umm…considering that the Eagles went on to loose 5 or 6 more games after he was benched…I would say NO
But I would say that it has to do with improved play from the playres that you thought were “ASS” “Trash” and “BUMS” namely Allen , DRC, Cap’n Meco
