Random thought- Where is Vinnie? *CRICKETS* Good win. ST’s were horrid. Asomugha has lost a step, seems slow, especially when he has to cut, stop & go. It isn’t just the lack of the over the top help, by itself, but our safeties don’t help when they are mediocre. Nevertheless, good win. 2 wins against very good teams. Exceeding my expectations thus far. MESSAGE TO REID, “KEEP RUNNING THE F^#@ING BALL, BECAUSE MCCOY IS A STUD!!!!” It lessens Vicks mistakes, & gives the offense balance. Bring on Rapistberger. BTW, F^#@ you Tony Blowmo! LOL!!!!

LOL Eaglehaslanded…Come on bro, yes we beat out hated rival last night. Feels damn good and I’m always willing to talk trash about any of the NFC East team when we get the chance…
But your last comment is absurd and should be deleted from the board because it is embarrassing to us Eagles fans..Yes JPP didn’t register a sack last night (he was on Vicks back at times and was the focal point of getting chipped double teamed you name it). However, that dude was the defensive catalyst to giving that fucking team a Superbowl ring just last year..You could say he single handily carried them there on defense last year. Please don’t make stupid comments like that because BG has a long way to go to become even relevant to JPP on the NFL level right now. Hope he does man but he is going to need more production than just some pressure on the opposing QB to compare to a guy who was a major reason they won the SB…And we all know we would take JPP in Eagles Green in a heart beat over BG so stop with the absurdity.
That being said lets enjoy this win. CAnt stand Eli at all and its always great to see him with his head down after a Birds Game moping around like a giant douche.
I hope we come out strong and play passionate solid football on Sunday. You can’t have DAwkins in your locker room every Sunday to rub off on you…

Really concerned about this point situation we got going here. ARe we seriously ranked near the bottom when it comes to points? Gotta get that fixed ASAP

So… as i was saying…. y worry about the cap? The eagles are under this year and will be again next year. Nnamdi is fine….. ilm takethese 2 over past years corners. Plus… you guys have to u derstand that press man leaves gaps sometimes. Go and actually watch other teams… “shut down corners” get beat. Especially with young safties playing behind them.

A better queation would be….. why do our safties feel the need to cheat against the run? We have good lb’s now. Every body should stay at home and react when they are sure.

Mhenski you are correct in the 2013 totals, but you fail to take into account 2 truths.
1. You do not account for the carry over of cap room left from 2012 which is currently about $22.6M (per Eaglescap.com). Adding the carry over to the estimated 2013 cap # of around $121M gives the Eagles an actual 2013 Cap of $143.6M, or about $6M, currently, in cap room.
2. Jarrett’s full cap hit is felt in 2012 so there is no penalty in 2013 (Saving about $1M) and The Eagles will not keep both Bell and Peters on the roster next year at $9.7M and $10.6M respectively. With little known about Peters’ recovery it could be that we see neither on the roster in 2013, but either way we are in for a savings of at least $10M.

3-1…crazy way to get here, but beats the hell out of last years start!!

The balanced run / pass ratio saw benefits later in the game with Shadey getting big runs. This will also help the O-Line do a better job against strong pass rushing teams. DJax played a really strong game and ZERO turnovers is a big step for this team.

Special teams need to have more changes than just cutting the punter. I really believe that Jordan’s absence last night was part of the unit’s problem, but we cannot afford another game where we give the opponent that kind of field position.
