Hah! This is like playing the Penguins on turf… real “hatred” from fans feeds the players and it’ll be very loud there. Way back in the late 70′s with those Pirate teams of Stargell & Parker & “Scrap Iron”, there was strong rivalry vs the Phillies. Pirates win the WS in ’79, Phillies in ’80 for first time. Agreed Paul,nice point. Ben loves the left roll out only to find a guy sitting in the middle of the field . Props to the backers for putting some confidence in us that they’ll do there job in the middle zone on secondary receivers. I like the corners on these wideouts. And im not worried about Heath Miller right now.

There oline is horrible and Oakland harrassed him all day out there,and our dline is much better. Rungame doenst worry me either.

Only question for me is can Mike play another clean game?i believe in him,he made the comment this week that was telling…as a qb you find that flow and you just get into it. Reading the d and makign the proper adjustments….Brees was having the same problem this year and he turned it around,they didnt get the win in GB but he looked much better then in weeks past.And if they hand the ball to 25 20 times were 4-1 and thats that.

Antonio Brown called Boykin “the candy bar” in that he is giving up big plays so they have to take advantage of that matchup.

The key is the DE’s and especially Trent COle to keep containment,
Big Ben prefers to roll to his left and then throw back across the field..
If you recall in the Giants game, Giants DE Umenyuri did a terrible job of containment and allowed VIck to get outside the pocket numerous times in which make smart decisions and scooted for easy 1st Downs on some key 3rd Down plays which is demoralizing for a Defense..
Eagles DE’s need to come in wide and keep containment on the edges and force Ben to move up in the pocket where hopefully the oncoming DT’s and Possible LB’s Blitze’s can get to him and hit him around.. The Steelers OL is their weakest group on their Team and needs to be exploited if th Eagles are to win and the Eagles DL should dominate the line of scrimmage
