This team tackles like they are wearing boxing gloves. They can’t wrap-up. It’s been like this for years now! Even during the JJ years, it was the same. The blitzes, big hits & good coverage in the secondary, just did a nice job of masking it! Nobody should be surprised by our ineptness at tackling. Remember, we have a freaking Offensive line coach, as a defensive coordinator. Other than Wahsburn on the D-line, we have all inexperienced coaches. Bowles just got here, & hasn’t shown anything special, thus far. Enough said. Boys nothing is gonna change, until Lurie has the balls to $#!T can this entire staff, & start over. We need an extreme atmosphere & philosophy change, with the quickness!!!!! Until then it’s the same old, same old, $#!T!!!

Paul makes a great point. This team is built to play with a lead. Teams will continue to use 3-step drops, chips and max protect if they are always in 1-2 possession games, making our vaunted D-line immaterial.
The Defense has held Cleveland to 16pts (20 pts/g avg), Balt to 23 (26 pts/g avg), Arizona to 20 offensive pts (18.8 avg), Giants to 17 ( 30 pts/g avg), and Pitt to 16 (23 ppg avg). We are starting games off too slow offensively and forcing a D to play outside their specialty, which they have been for the most part successful.

For as McCoy has been and us, he alone is not enough to make the Eagles a legitimate Playoff Team. Look around the Good NFL Teams and they all have 3-4players on both sides of the Ball that make plays
Eagles have McCoy and D-Jax and that’s it Offensively
Defensively the Eagles supposed vaunted Pass Rush is. Moot point unless they are able to get leads in games which the shitty play of Vick prevents from happening
Final drive I saw Kendricjs, Ryan’s, Asmo & Coleman all miss tackles making the Steeler get additional yardage making their game winning FG possible
In today’s high-scoring NFl if you are not scoring 24-27 Pts a game, then you are a .500 Team. Have the Eagles scored this much this Season in 5 Games
Herein lies the problem with the 2012 Eagles Team
