paulman we are not a big play team anymore.. the league has stopped us.. they know what we do.. all the plays are being made in the middle of the field and we dont really have the personal for that .. Thats why celek is having a good year.. but besides him who else is there. , avant. other teams got huge reciver that go over the middle or are tough .. like the giants and patriots.. nicks cruz barden..patriot are getting hernedez back and they have the monster gronk.. and wes welker is tough as hell.. i always though we should have kept danny amendola to be our wes welker.. why the hell wont the let mardy gilyard play .. we need some life in the offense

Bottom line here is that the Eagles are exciting to watch with big-play ability, but they are still an average .500 team. It is what it is..

Blah, blah, blah, blah. All the plays are important from the first to the last because they all contribute to the final outcome.

Turnovers only matter if you lose
Poor defense only matters if you lose
No sacks only matter if you lose
Poor play by a corner only matters if you lose
Poor special teams only matter if you lose

The eagles did all this and lossed and its no surprise to anyone given how many bad plays contributed to the loss.

Love the intelligent conversation @Real @Vinnie @mhenski, at the end of the day I think we all want the same thing a Super Bowl win. I would hope the whole Eagle nation will cheer whoever the coach and QB is that gets that done whether it be Vick, Foles or some free agent to be named later!!!

I don’t watch the games to see (you’re implying ‘hope’) Vick throw an int or fumble. I just know its going to happen multiple times each game.

Its what he does.

@Mhenski – is there a first time for everything? At one point every QB started out with 0 SB’s. Every coach started out with 0 SB’s. If the Giants have the QB that has thrown the most INT’s since 2006, then why can’t our QB lead us to a SB?

Yes I think the Eagles can win a SB with Vick. Why wouldn’t I? How long Vick remains an Eagle depends on where the Eagles finish this season…

I supported Kolb when he played cheered when he made a good play and cursed when he made a bad play, the same as I do with Vick.. Did I like Kolb as the starter, NO…I would rather had the Eagles kept McNabb or start Vick at the time. But I never hated on Kolb as much of some of you guys hate on Vick. I didnt watch the games like a certain person, to see Kolb get hurt, or throw an INT or fumble or play badly….

Vinnie there is a big difference…those Wilson stats shows me he has not moved the ball…Vicks numbers are double his…He can move the offense up and down the field…again your only complain for Vick currently are his fumbles!

No not saying its race, but it really makes me wonder…I knew someone would say Brees is proven…Reality this season is Brees has thrown the same amount of INT”s that Vick has thrown this season and his team’s record is not very good on top of it…Eli has also thrown more INT’s then any other NFL QB since 2006 (something like that) …Eli didn’t win the SB by his lonesome.

You’re damn right there’s a double standard.

For a whole segment on one of the pregame shows they argued that this:

60 of 100 (60%) for 594 4 tds 4 ints (0fumbles) was not getting it done for his team and should be benched

but

88 of 155 (57%) for 1146 4tds, 6 ints and 5 fumbles was “the only answer” for his team at QB

The first Wilson of Seattle…his numbers say – “must be benched”.

The second…Vick of course…his numbers for the talking heads say he’s the “only answer”

Stop listening to those bufoons and open your own eyes.
