@Navy good point – Even the Giants game when the Eagles didn’t commit a turnover, the Giants were seeing short field after short field. Shows how impressive the defense really has been, when you think about all the turnovers and the special teams giving up field position. Defense isn’t the problem, but there is always room for growth/improvement from all areas on a football team.

Eagles Defense = 10th in the league in points allowed (ave)
Eagles Offense = 31st in the league in points scored (ave) Only Jax is worse.

Can anyone spot the issue with this team?

The eagles have a good, not great defense. However, no defense can CONSISTENTLY cover 2-4 turnovers/game by the offense. Vick is talented enough to play quarterback but not CONSISTENT enough to get to the superbowl. I see a 9-7 team unless Vick changes his ways (which I doubt he can- he is 32).

Maybe so EROCK, but I am right much more often about this Eagle Team than must of you Kool-Aid Drinkers..
This Team is just not all that good, an average OL at best, average TE’s with no bog play capability and an overrated WR corp who I have stated is average in comparison with other NFL Teams and a shitty QB.. No real surprise here E-Rock, I have been saying the same shit for 3 Years now…
I have little to no expectations for this 2012 Team and its Coaching Staff and that’s just the way it is and something I have stated since Summer Camp..

also vick has had 4 drives in the 4th quarter to give the eagles the lead… FOUR !!! in 5 games.

regardless of anything else, how is that not playing consistently at somewhat of a high level ? I have sit and read many of your comments, and they ALL say that the phillies and eagles are done for… try a different opinion.
