NFL Week 15 Picks

LeSeanMcCoy2My Overall Record: 133-76

Washington @ Atlanta

A battle between two of the most disappointing teams in the NFC and the league. Kirk Cousins takes over as quarterback, with Washington deciding to hold Robert Griffin out of the final three games to make sure he’s healthy for next year. Atlanta has played a bit better over the last two weeks, and I think they’re a bit less dysfunctional than the Redskins are at this point.

Pick: Atlanta 27, Washington 16

Chicago @ Cleveland

The Bears are still in the thick of the NFC North race after a big win over Dallas last Monday. Cleveland got their hearts ripped out after watching the Patriots steal a victory in the final seconds of last week’s game, and I don’t think they’ve got another strong effort in them.

Pick: Chicago 23, Cleveland 10

Houston @ Indianapolis

Gary Kubiak has been fired, Case Keenum is starting, injuries have decimated the defense, Houston has an 11-game losing streak and nothing to play for. The Colts have their playoff ticked stamped thanks to their playing in a pitiful division, but they need an easy opponent to snap out of their funk and the Texans are just what the doctor ordered.

Pick: Indianapolis 33, Houston 17

Buffalo @ Jacksonville

Gus Bradley’s message has begun to reach the Jaguars, and they’ve made great strides in the last month winning four of their last five. The Bills have not looked good over the last couple weeks, those players look ready for the season to be over move. Bradley’s Jags make it five out of six.

Pick: Jacksonville 23, Buffalo 13

New England @ Miami

Miami is back in the playoff picture, and they’ll be desperate for another win to keep their season alive. The Patriots will feel the loss of Gronkowski, but ultimately Tom Brady should still beat this team on the road.

Pick: New England 30, Miami 20

Philadelphia @ Minnesota

Too many mismatches in the Eagles’ favor for their five-game winning streak to come to an end.

Pick: Philadelphia 33, Minnesota 13

Seattle @ New York

The Giants enjoyed a brief resurgence, but its become clear that they’ve fallen out of the face. Seattle’s defense should have a field day against an offense that serves turnovers up on a silver platter.

Pick: Seattle 30, New York 14

San Francisco @ Tampa Bay

This game means too much for the 49ers for them to suffer a letdown.

Pick: San Francisco 31, Tampa Bay 17

New York @ Carolina

Carolina bounces back from a tough loss against the Saints. The Carolina defense will give Geno Smith all kinds of problems.

Pick: Carolina 23, New York 10

Kansas City @ Oakland

Andy Reid must love that his schedule has gone back to feeding him bad football teams.

Pick: Kansas City 38, Oakland 10

Green Bay @ Dallas

No Aaron Rodgers, no win on the road for the Packers.

Pick: Dallas 28, Green Bay 13

New Orleans @ St. Louis

Saints continue to roll against Kellen Clemens and an injury-depleted Rams squad.

Pick: New Orleans 35, St. Louis 17

Arizona @ Tennessee

The Cardinals can’t afford to letdown on the road if they want to stay in the playoff race.

Pick: Arizona 24, Tennessee 14

Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh

The Steelers are out of the playoff race, and the Bengals control the division. A win from the Bengals could put the division out of reach for Baltimore.

Pick: Cincinnati 23, Pittsburgh 17

Baltimore @ Detroit

The Ravens won’t outscore in the Lions on the road.

Pick: Detroit 30, Baltimore 17

Good Picks Denny
Not a lot of great match-ups this week as the past couple of weeks
My upset Specials

Dolphins over Patriots (Dolphins usually play them well at Home)
In a close game. patriots Secondary is hurting and I expect Mike Walkace, Brian Hartline and TE Clay all to have big games
Dolphins 28 – Pats 23

Packers over the Cowboys whose Defense has really looked bad here lately
Where’s DeMarco Ware been all Year and if he makes the Pro-Bowl again, it’s a travesty..the Packers are the better a Coached Team in a must win for both squads, I believe Packers squeeze out a thriller
34-30 over the Cowboys

On a side note, Giants DE J-P Pierre is shutting it down for the Season die to lingering shoulder & back problems.. JPP has had 1 big-season out of his 4 Years in the NFL and has been virtually invisible this Season
Again, I go back to when players get over-hyped or when others get
written off too quickly but when looking at Career Stats
JPP has 29.5 Career Sacks in 4 Seasons which is hard key All-World
Take his 16.5 Sacks in 2011 and he’s put up Bradon Graham’s #’s who play’s 1/4 the Snaps that JPP does ..Just something to think about
In fact Graham has more sacks than JPP does this season
I am in no way saying Graham is better than JPP, just merely stating that
There were risk’s with JPP coming out of College with his Lack of Experience and some concerns about his injury issues and his back in particular and these are starting to bear out only after 4 Seasons

EOS, let Denny keep picking them, every time he picks them they lose. I just saw an interesting stat, do you know that the Eagles have been running the ball 55% compared to 45% throwing? That’s unbelievable. I remember in the beginning of the season how everyone was saying Chip threw the ball too much, talk about adjustments, this guy is amazing, gotta luv him.
