The Panthers have looked miserable over the last few weeks, but I think they’re capable of much better than what we’ve seen so far, and I think they bounce back and breakout this week at home.
Pick: Carolina 20, Chicago 17
Houston @ Dallas
The Cowboys have been playing some great ball as of late, and I think they keep the momentum going at home. I can’t trust Ryan Fitzpatrick to play a clean game on the road.
Pick: Dallas 23, Houston 14
Buffalo @ Detroit
The Bills made such a baffling move this week, pushing the panic button on E.J. Manuel, benching him in favor of veteran Kyle Orton. The Bills were off to a 2-2 start, and the best thing they could have done was let Manuel learn from his mistakes and play through his struggles. Playing Orton so early in the year serves no long-term purpose, they need to find out all they can about Manuel. Detroit steps in and thrashes them this week.
Pick: Detroit 31, Buffalo 17
Baltimore @ Indianapolis
I’ve been impressed with how much better Baltimore’s offense has looked since their struggles on Opening Day. This is a game that the Colts have to have. Its all well and good to beat up and the weak Jaguars and Titans, but they’ve got to prove that they can beat a quality opponent.
Pick: Indianapolis 27, Baltimore 20
Pittsburgh @ Jacksonville
The Steelers won’t letdown two weeks in a row.
Pick: Pittsburgh 24, Jacksonville 14
Tampa Bay @ New Orleans
Its no or never for the Saints, who have just looked dreadful through four weeks. That franchise has got to feel decimated though after sacrificing several key veterans’ contracts to make room for Jairus Byrd, who is now lost for the season.
Pick: New Orleans 30, Tampa Bay 23
Atlanta @ New York Giants
The Giants come back down to earth this week.
Pick: Atlanta 28, New York 23
St. Louis @ Philadelphia
Everyone on the Eagles from Nick Foles to LeSean McCoy bounce back this week.
Pick: Philadelphia 30, St. Louis 20
Cleveland @ Tennessee
The Titans can’t score, and Cleveland should roll after having extended time to prepare with their bye week.
Pick: Cleveland 24, Tennessee 13
Arizona @ Denver
The Cardinals luck runs out this week. Drew Stanton isn’t outdueling Peyton Manning.
Pick: Denver 31, Arizona 13
New York Jets @ San Diego
The Jets take another loss, and get one step closer to changing quarterbacks.
Pick: San Diego 30, New York 17
Kansas City @ San Francisco
The 49ers roll with momentum from last week’s win over the Eagles, while Kansas City once again struggles to beat a quality opponent.
Pick: San Francisco 27, Kansas City 20
Cincinnati @ New England
Amazing how bad the Patriots look. Until they show some kind of life, you’ve got to bet against them.
Pick: Cincinnati 27, New England 13
Seattle @ Washington
The Seattle defense will make life hell for turnover-prone Kirk Cousins.
Pick: Seattle 30, Washington 10
I like the Bears big over the Panthers
The Bears weakness is their Run Defense but the Panthers can’t run the Ball
And QB Cam Newton is not good enough to win a Game on his own by Passing 35 + a game..
Bears 33 – Panthers 16
Giants all over the Falcons who now lost their Starting Center and RT for thf Season. The a Falcon beat no one on the Road, even when healthy.
Giants RB Tandem of Jennings/Williams combine for 200 Yrds on the ground over The undersized Falcons Front 7
Giants 30 – Falcons 17
I like the Ravens if they go up-tempo vs the Colts
In a shoot out 35-31
A well rested Bengals over the desperate Patriots 27-20
Cowboys 31 – Texans 17
Lions 24 over Bills 13
Broncos, Seahawks, 49ers all win by
2 Scores
Upset of Week
Rams 26 – Eagles 20
dam NCAA football just got turned upside down with traditional powers being replaced by some new blood in upset Saturday. Need so upsets to benefit the birds today like the Giants and Cowboys get dinged in the loss column.
