After starting 0-2, the Colts have ripped off three straight to put themselves back on track.
They’ve been helped a lot by the fact that they play in what could very well be the worst division in football, they’ve got another AFC South opponent tonight in the Houston Texans.
Houston is the greatest threat to the Colts, but that’s not saying much. Their defense is strong enough to keep them in a lot of games, and Arian Foster has shown that he’s still got some good football left in the tank, but the Texans’ quarterback situation still dooms them.
Ryan Fitzpatrick is a guy who should strictly be a backup. Occasionally, he can put together a nice game with decent numbers, but the guy is just a turnover machine when he gets overexposed.
Thursday night games have been incredibly one-sided this year, but that’s a trend I believe will come to an end. The Texans defense is too good to allow the Colts to post crooked numbers, but Fitzpatrick won’t be outdueling Andrew Luck tonight.
Pick: Indianapolis 23, Houston 13
I love G’s videos where he is chasing Norcross around and calling him out for not wanting to debate. I also love how G is rocking his Eagles gear in doing so.
Sorry G, I just watched that video of you chasing Norcross around and that was horrendous. You may have a point, but you need to handle it in a more tactful way. This just reminded of some sleezebag from TMZ chasing around a famous person that is just trying to mind his or her business. Not what I want leading our country.

too bad he won’t be able to Marcus Lattimore his knee now and ruin his chance at NFL life changing money
Watching the Texans vs Colts….someone last week lamented the fact that the Eagles did not draft Guard Xavier Sua Fila because he would be great in the line up due to injury. LoL…I just watched him get his ass handed to him…pushed back on a bull rush, then on the next play just ran over. But hey, if we drafted him some would say he is a bust. He just needs time to get NFL strong. I love how some people hype other teams draft choices, then they play like shit.
Everyone wants to be right
Guard Sua-Filo has struggled all Season at the NFL level and has been pushed around.. He definitely needs to add some bulk, strength and improve on Technique… I liked him out of UCLA and think he will be a good one but it will take a good 2 Years or so as he physically is not up to par as a Rookie..
On a sdie Note– Former Eagle Danarius Johnson looked real good with the Texans, they had him in the Slot running as a 3rd WR most of the time where he ran a lot of crossing routes in which he was very effective going against Nickle Backs.. Looks like he found a home with them..
I told toy this week’s ago Paulman. He’s gotten Caltex out for shitty practice habits as well. He had skills but might not have the work ethic. Especially since if he’s good he would start. There’s JAG in front of him.
I am guilty of that one…..and I also saw the same play EHL, and immediately thought about my desire to have had the Eagles take him. Now, one play does not make a career, but he played like a rookie and is not yet the plug-in all pro that some may have had us believe. Guilty EHL, you got me and some others on that one.
Lmao EHL that person was Paulman.
Yes I stated I was high on him and still am, it’s very rare for an OL as a Rookie to step in and make an Impact during their Rookie Seasons
Look at all these Top Picks along the OL in recent Drafts..
It takes a good 1-2 Years for these Players to adjust their game, techniques and bodies which is why it always cracks me up when Posters on here say that Lane Johnson is a Bust.. I think LJ had a nice Rookie Season and was much better in the 2nd Half then when starting out as you would expect a Rookie to be..
Agreed, however, it seemed as if you were knocking the Eagles selections which is ok too, but, Sua Fila would not come in and took over no where near Mathis left off. Therefore, it does not matter whether we had Sua fila during this time of offensive line turmoil. Fila would be struggling and not have solidified the line during the past few weeks. Future wise, probably. We have always agreed on the time line for developing rookies, but, Sua Fila would not have made a dramatic difference on the offense for the Eagles if he was inserted at this time.
The Best Overall Rookie OL I have seen so far this Season
Is the Browns Guard J Bitonio, who I was very high on as a 2nd Roubder from U of Nevada and RT Justin Britt, out of Missouri, who went to the Seahawks, and who I was also high on as a mid-rounder though the Seahawks selected him earlier than most had him going
I think they grabbed him in the 2nd where most had a 4th/5th Round Grade on him…
I thought NBA officials were bad but NFL referees are the worst, phantom pass interferences, JJ Watt would’ve had a clean blindside shot on Luck the tackle blatantly sticks his leg out and trips him. No call.
I saw that big the announcer didnt even say anything I was like ok he definely didnt trip and the worst pass interference call ever and may i say that watt is my favorite player in the nfl absolute monster never takes plays off he wasvtired as shit and still makes plays
Biggy, I could not agree more. The refs this year have become more and more a deciding factor in the outcome of the game. It is getting crazy with the phantom calls and then the blatant, right in front of them, no-calls that they allow. Worse then I have ever seen and I have been watching football for 40+ years. The bad part is that it really affects the outcomes of games, these are not just little calls. Really bad.
They way the games are called anymore is brutal, it drags the games out, makes them choppy with no rhythm.. It’s ruining the Fan Experience of watching some of these Games with 20-25 Flags thrown and stoppages, conferences every 3rd play or so..
Not to mention the tv timeouts. It is brutal watching a game live, even as a fan it’s tough to get in a cheering rhythm with all the extended timeout breaks. A game of 60 minutes of play time should not take 3.5+ hours… They are doing everything they can to drain the fans of their money but they are not doing much for the future of the sport… It’s just to boring for younger people
