Fantasy Football Week 7: Start/Sit

Ryan,Julio,Roddy1QB

Bench’emRussell Wilson (at STL)– losing at home, your best wide receiver and then playing on the road versus a divisional rival, not the ingredients I’m looking for with my FF signal caller.

Matt Ryan- (at BALT) Mr. Ice has gone cold, and the freeze will continue to take form on the road against an underrated Ravens defense.  With only Julio Jones as a true receiving threat these days, Ryan has the talent and track record for the big game, but you need playmakers, and they are certainly lacking in that area these days.

Trust’em- Cam Newton (at GB)-There is a chance that Newton will be without rookie Benjamin, but I think he will pass the concussion test, Newton is back doing his thing both through the air and on the ground.

Bust of the weekC. Kaepernick (at DEN)–He was fantastic against the Rams, but I don’t envision a second straight prime time game where he lights it up.

Surprise of the weekDerek Carr (vs ARI)– for the second straight week, the rookie looks solid and gives the Raiders some confidence about their future.  The difference this week, he also is rewarded with his frst career win.

RB

Bench’emS. Jackson (vs BALT), Stacy (vs SEA).  Stay away from starting any running backs from the Saints, Jacksonville, Minnesota, Oakland.

Trust’emA. Williams (at DAL)-the rookie will have a solid bounce back game, a nice flex option for the week.

J. Bell (vs NO)– whether or not Bush plays, Bell will continue to get those goal line looks, and is a low RB 2/solid flex this week.

Bust of the weekF. Gore (at DEN)-SF defense is not what it once was, and they will be playing from behind, getting away from the running game.

Surprise of the weekL.Miller (at CHI)- top 7 finish for the week for running backs, 130 total yards and a score.

WR

Bench’em- B. Quick (vs SEA), D. Bowe (at SD), Crabtree (at DEN)

Trust’em- M. Sanu (at INDY), P. Garcon (vs TENN), R. Wayne (vs CIN)

Bust of the week Keenan Allen(vs KC)-The sophomore is simply not getting separation from opposing defenders, and I don’t see him breaking out of that slump this Sunday.

Surprise of the week Golden Tate-(vs NO) – His first two touchdown game as a Lion, going to make a lot of owners happy, very happy that is.

TE

Bench’em- Davis (at DEN), Cook (vs SEA), Bennett (vs MIA)

Trust’emGates (vs KC), Reed (vs TENN), Cameron (at JAX), Kelce (at SD)

Bust of the weekGreg Olsen (at GB)-not going to be the guy this week for Newton, the Packers have been solid against the tight-end this season, and that is not going to change at home this Sunday.

Surprise of the weekCharles Clay (at CHI)- The guy is still struggling to get healthy, but he will look plenty healthy with his first TD of the season, on his way to a 7 catch 70 yard game.

DEF/ST

Buffalo will score two touchdowns from their defense/special team units.

I love how people continue to suggest starting Reggie Wayne. I drafted him and he’s been a bust all season. I’ve lost faith in him being a relevent fantasy player and so should everyone else!
