On The Mound

  • Aaron Harang was scratched from his scheduled start, and the Phillies gave the call to Paul Clemens. Clemens pitched 2.1 innings and allowed three runs on three hits and four walks. 
  • Philippe Aumont took over the in third, and pitched 1.2 innings allowing two hits.
  • Nefi Ogando allowed a run on three hits in two innings of work.
  • Mike Nesseth gave up a hit in a scoreless inning.
  • Ken Giles struck out two in a scoreless eighth.
  • Seth Rosin earned the save with a scoreless ninth.

At The Plate

  • Odubel Herrera started in center and went 0-3.
  • Cord Phelps drew two walks and scored a run in a start at second.
  • Grady Sizemore went 1-3 and scored a run.
  • Brian Bogusevic got a start for Jeff Francoeur, who was scratched with a sore oblique. Bogusevic responded by smacking two homers, and driving in three runs.
