On The Mound

  • Sean O’Sullivan started and allowed one run over three innings. He allowed two hits, a walk, and struck out two. 
  • Mario Hollands pitched two scoreless innings.
  • Kevin Slowey had a rough showing, allowing two runs on one hit and two walks.
  • Hector Neris came on to get the final out of the eighth inning.
  • Jeanmar Gomez threw a scoreless ninth.

At The Plate

  • Ben Revere continues to struggle at the plate, going 0-2 with a walk. 
  • Cody Asche hit second, and went 1-3.
  • Domonic Brown went 1-3 with an RBI single.
  • Darin Ruf went 0-4, dropping his average to .192.
  • Russ Canzler played left and went 0-3 with two strikeouts.
  • Cesar Hernandez went 0-2, and dropped his average to .091.
  • Andres Blanco went 0-3 and drove in a run.

I thought the Phils lost 3-2 to the Yankees but Beat Boston Red Sox 11-4 on
Intra-Squad Games Yesterday ??
