Today, Tim Tebow Was In Philadelphia Working Out For The Eagles

NFL: San Diego Chargers at Denver BroncosWe’ll find out later this year whether Chip Kelly has been wise in the moves he’s making, but one thing is for sure, he knows how to dominate the sports news.

There have been numerous reports that former Heisman Trophy winner and Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow was in town today working out for the Eagles.  It’s been common knowledge that the former University of Florida quarterback, who led the Gators to a couple of National Championships has been working on his throwing fundamentals for more than a year now.

Despite numerous setbacks, Tebow has refused to give up on his dream of being a NFL quarterback.  He’s tried to shorten his throwing motion, so that he can get the football out of his hands quicker.  Tebow’s ability to run with the football would fit in with Chip Kelly’s offense, which gives the quarterback some opportunities to carry the football.

The New England Patriots were the last team Tebow played for and that was during the 2013 season.  The left-handed quarterback has also played for the New York Jets, but he has yet to secure himself a position as a NFL quarterback.  He didn’t play in the NFL in 2014.  Tebow kept himself busy in 2014 by being a college football analyst for ESPN.

This is the NFL’s worse nightmare, players considering their health and retiring for that reason. Others will surely take notice.

the concussion issue has just scratched the tip of the iceberg. This is trickling down to younger kids- its a matter of time before high schools and colleges start dropping football because of lawsuits etc.
right now in most high schools across the country you can find a dozen (in each school) kids who are excused from various activities, including academic due to concussion symptoms- most are sports related–

Same reason people use than instead of then and vise versa, sometimes people just are not that worried about the grammar police. Not that big of a deal on a blog, if it was a term paper, then I’d understand..lmao! I don’t understand why people use lower case “i” when referring to them self. It should be a capital “I”.But to be perfectly honest, I could care less!

mhenski there is a simple reason why you dont get it.

Your an idiot

I told you before…your like an old, stuffy ass that would come to a sports bar and begin nagging people on their usage of the English while people are drinking and enjoying the game.

And just like you are trying to figure it out now, You would wonder why your suddenly gripped up by the bouncers and thrown out on your ass

Who like an stuffy, overbearing jerk correcting them about English on a sports forum

Figure it out!

haaaaaaaa

“your an idiot”

Your

Your is the second person possessive adjective, used to describe something as belonging to you. Your is always followed by a noun or gerund.

What is your name?

Is this your pen?

Your book is on the table.

This is your chair and this is mine.

What happened to your dog?

This is your best work ever!

Your being here is causing some problems.

I didn’t know your working late would be so difficult.
You’re

You’re is the contraction of “you are” and is often followed by the present participle (verb form ending in -ing).

You’re going to be late.

Is that what you’re wearing?

I think you’re lying.

If you’re ready, we can go.

I can’t believe you’re a doctor!

When you’re my age, you’ll understand.

You’re welcome.

You’re the best!
The Bottom Line

The confusion between your and you’re occurs because the two words are pronounced pretty much the same.

The ironclad rule – no exceptions – is that if you’re able to replace the word with “you are,” you’re saying you’re. Otherwise, your only choice is your.

It’s crazy but Tebow would have more value on this team than Barkley, with a strong running that we now have Tebow could actually play 5 snaps a game and get us a first down on short yardage, I wouldn’t have a problem taking him but it would be funny that the most talked about player on our team would b our 3rd string QB

The eagles have 20million tied into two players sam Bradford and demeco Ryans. Wow something has to be done about that now that the eagles only have 7 million left in cap space.

I believe Ryans will be Released or at least Re-structure his Deal
I also think the Eagles Will Re-structure/Extend Bradford’s Deal to a New 3 Year Deal once the Draft is Over which both moves will help free-up some
Cap Space for 2015.. Evan Mathis may be part of a Give-Away Trade during the Draft when they move up a 1/2 a Round for Trading him…

gloomy, both are gone! If the almighty genius really wanted Bradford, the way he says he does, that contract would have been restructured already, or at least we would have heard whispers of a restructure. In no way, does Ryans come back on that contract, especially when he won’t be ready for the start of the season, & most likely not until probably November. Bradford WILL be a trade chip, & Ryans will be gone after the draft. Makes ZERO sense, paying that kind of $$$.

DCar I think most of the restructures happen after the draft….there are going to players availabile they will have to move money around to acquire (VJax) if they go that route and now that Marriotta has the stank on him theres the possiblity that he drops to 20. Best to play it all out first.

The Eagles are going to make some more moves

Listen we have won the “Cap Management” championship plenty of times!

Fuck that!

For years we have heard about the Eagles adept skill in ‘cap managment.

I’m sick of it!

Kelly is making bold moves,,,he’s going for it! He’s changing some things and taking some risk.

You have to take some risk, take a chance sometimes to win rather than just milk us the fans with ‘fiscal restraint’, frugality, and ‘cap management’.

If we dont win there is an easy way to resolve any cap problems…

Cut Players that dont help you win

The gambles and moves might not pay off but damm it..its better to make some aggressive moves to try to win rather than stand pat and your not winning any playoff games, no championships.

Now, I’m all in with Chip!

The restructuring is beginning, they just started with STer Braman, you’ll see this more n more as the weeks go by, you’ll also see them take that tender off the table for Polk, I bet we end up with over 15 million when it’s all said n done.

Redskins just resigned Colt McCoy, their going into the season with their same three QBs from last year, if Mariota gets past the first two picks he might actually drop far enough for us to get him, he gets to 12 i see us giving the Browns Bradford who they wanted n us getting him, it’s getting intresting!

I would have Preferred he stayed with St Nick EHL to be honest and fix the Defense, but Kelly decided to go all in with Bradford and then after Trading McCoy and coming up short on Maclin, this entire rebuild, “Plan B” for Chip went in high warp speed…
Only Chip knows why he chose this route, but if anyone thinks that by Trading Cheaper Foles for $13 Million Bradford is really going to help the Eagles Move up in the 1st Round as a Package to Get Mariota is just crazy..
He Traded For Bradford for Kelly thinks that Bradford can help him Win Playoff Games more than Foles would in 2015..
Kelly is going all in for the here and now and now looking for 2-3 Years down the Road…

I didn’t love or hate Foles, but I think it is interesting that your idea of “his” guy has gone from Mariotta to Bradford. What happened to his guy being the type of guy who could run the football, so that Chip can “run the whole offense.”

Are all of your comments about “his” guy based on Bradford’s NFL career, because that really hasn’t been that impressive when he was able to stay on the field. He has worse injury issues than Foles had.

Do you blame the offensive coordinator or skill position players for his actual lack of accuracy in the pros?

So again to be clear, I am not a Foles lover, but I am certainly not a Bradford lover either. I do not see how you can feel any better at QB when the Eagles are a breath away from extended Mark Sanchez.

anyway lets see what bradfords strong arm, quick release, quick thinking, accurate QB who has some arm strength and most of all, football intelligence has done in the nfl. lets look at the last season he played all 16 games – 2 years ago.

3702 passing yards – good for 15th in the league

59.5 completion percentage – good for 20th WOW I THOUGHT HE WAS REAL ACCURATE?

6.72 yards/attempt – good for 26th – WOoooo hold up this cant be right koolbreeze said he has a strong arm

35 sacks – good for 31st worst in the league

82.6 rating – 18th in the league – but with all the smarts, arm strength, accuracy and quick decision making skills he has this cant be righT!

15th most picks

18th most tds

BUT HE HAS IT!!!!!!!! ALL IN

Browns at #12 Select a WR (Davante Parker or Jaelen Strong)
then at #19 they Select a QB (Petty or Hundley) or oosibly Trade Back and then Select Petty/Hundley

Remember they just Signed QB Josh McCown to a 3 Year Deal last month so when they add a QB to their Roster, it’s a Rookie and not a Bradford Type

That shit about GM Cliff is so freakin true – couple years back when Johnson was a rookie – he of course was hating on him. Said he gave up ‘sacks’ – when I called bullshit – gave him a breakdown of every sack and showed Johnson gave up a couple early in year, none the last like 10 weeks – – he responded – he gave up lots of hurries, and hurries are like sacks to me – so Johnson sucks – it was then I pointed out that Brandon Graham actually was the NFL leader in hurries that season – so to GM Cliff – if hurries are like sacks – Brandon Graham lead the NFL in hurries that season – so he can get off hating on Graham – makes sense right – that logic only works in one direction with him – once he declares a player a bust (Johnson for example) he rides that pony – now watch he will spend the next however long showing us how much he cares by telling us how much he doesn’t – I often laugh at the stuff people make up on here – whatever happened to the guy that used to bust all the negative people and call people out for making crap up

Who is “Long” ? Do you Mean OL Jake Fisher from Oregon?
I like both OL Jake Fisher and WR Jaelen Strong

Strong is the higher rated Prospect with a Definite 1st Round Grade and projects to go anywhere from #15-#25 where Fisher is rising up the Boards and is projected to go anywhere from the late 1st to early 2nd (#25 to #40 Range)

So to answer your question, Fisher would be more of a Ready at Selection #20 since Strong is Rated Higher and would be consider the BPA between the 2.. I would also say that WR is Bigger Need and Concern than OL for the Eagles so WR J Strong should be the Pick..
