Final Thoughts
In spite of another poor offensive showing, the Phillies managed to come out with their second straight victory, giving them an early series victory over the Nationals.
The Nationals have blown late leads in each of the first two games of the series, and the Phils’ pitching staff should be credited for keeping the team in the game.
