Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford had another impressive practice throwing the football, today. He spread it out to his different receivers with plenty of throws going to Jordan Matthews, Zach Ertz and Nelson Agholor. Still there’s attention on his knee.
After practice Bradford was asked if he was open to having Pope Francis bless his knee. The Pope is scheduled to visit Philadelphia in late September.
“If I got to meet the Pope, that would be pretty cool,” Bradford said. “If he wanted to bless my knees, I’m all for it.”
There you have it, Bradford is open to letting The Pope bless his knee. I don’t know if it will amount to anything, but you’re going to be hearing about it for a while, so get ready.
