Vinny Curry Will Be Hard For Birds To Resign

VinnyCurryvsGiants1ESPN’s Adam Scheffer reported on Sunday that Eagles defensive end Vinny Curry’s name has been coming up in trade talks.  This doesn’t mean Curry’s name is being put out there by the Birds, it means his name has been coming up because he’s talented pass rusher, who isn’t starting.   Curry has starter talent and one of the best pure pass rusher in the NFL, but he is backing up here in Philly.  Pass rushers are valued, so other teams are probably asking the Eagles about him.  He’s how Schefter framed it.

“Some of the names you’re starting to hear right now as being shopped — that doesn’t mean anything happens — but their names have come up in connection with trades discussions — Paul Kruger in Cleveland, he’s available if a team wants him; Vinny Curry in Philadelphia, his name has been bandied about out there; Jared Cook, the Rams tight end, said to be available; Vernon Davis’ name has come up at times, the 49ers tight end.”

Curry is a pure 4-3 defensive end, who is playing in a 3-4 system.  He’s such an outstanding pass rusher, that he has been able to flourish in a system that doesn’t fit him and his strengths.

This is the final year of his four-year contract with the Eagles and I think it would be wise move on his part for him to go elsewhere.  He would be a starter on a bevy of teams around the league, who play a 4-3 defense and that’s going to guarantee him a big contract.  There are a number of other teams that could afford to pay him much more as a starter than the Birds will offer him as a backup.

The Eagles have quite a few other defensive starters, Fletcher Cox,  whom they need to resign and Curry is important, but he’s not a starter here.  Curry seems to love playing for the Birds and he knows this is a good defense that’s going to do nothing, but get better.  Still, he will be much more valuable for a 4-3 team and his contract offers once he becomes a free agent will reflect that.

Eagles lost Ground to Cardinals,Vikings,Rams,Seahawks and even the Saints passed them at 3-4 in the NFC Conference Record while the Eagles are 2-4

Eagles must Win all 6 Remaining NFC Conference Game or it won’t matter what these other Teams do or don’t do.. Eagles are currently 2-4 in NFC Conference Games and behind 10 other NFC Teams

If Eagles finish with 9 Wins, they will only have a Chacne with an 8-4 NFC Conference Record which means they have to win all 6 Remaining NFC Games which are against the Cowboys, Redskins,Giants, TB Bucs, Lions and Cardinals…. (TB Bucs have been playing better and better as the Season has gone along and the Cardinals are probably the best balanced Team in the entire NFC)

For the 6 Playoff Spots… NFC Conference Play & Record will be the First Tie-Breakers used to determine the Seedings for Teams fighting for the Post-Season.. Unless Eagles Win the NFC East, which they are 1-2 in the Divsion right now, they will be on the outside looking in with another loss within the Division & Conference, they must win all 6 NFC Conference Games

I have Vinny Curry being Traded to the Miami Dolphins for their 3rd Round Pick in 2016 Draft.. It should be announced here in a couple of hours..
Dolphins lost their Top Pass-Rusher in Cameron Wake for the Season and are desperate to replace him as they try to make a Playoff Push in the wide open AFC Wildcard Race

Will he? Is he? Really?

Guy has played in 43 games and has 9 sacks and 46 tackles.

He averages 1.07 tackles/game. He has 1 sack and 2 tackles this year??

How much of a “beast” is he really?

I know, I know, he’s not being used right, he’s out of position and all that…..but he couldn’t find the field in his first season (while in a 4-3) and under Kelly he flashed for about 7 games last year.

Has anyone ever heard about Dwan Edwards? How about Terrance Fede? Tyson Jackson? Ricardo Matthews? Leger Douzable?

Curry has 167 snaps this year and for it has 2 tackles and 1 sack. All those guys have onver 10 tackles and many have 1 sack…all with around the same number of snaps….most people have never heard of any of those guys.

I am not saying Curry is a bad player…and he’s probably being used incorrectly….but I also think Eagles fan may be over-valuing the guy a bit.

Curry is best suited as a 4-3 DE Designated Pass Rusher
Playing 30 Snaps a game in Obvious Passing Situations will yield him about 10-12 Sacks a Season.. Its who he is, very similar to Trent Cole in my Opinion.. I am not sold that Curry is an everydown DE in a 4-3 playing 50-60 Snaps a Game let alone a DE in the 3-4 Scheme that the Eagles run..
He will be moving on after this Season with a great chance to land up at the NY Giants in Free-Agency as he’s from North Jersey which is why I would prefer the Eagles to Trade him to a Team where he can potentially play well for and get an extension.. The Dolphins are a Perfect Fit, the Panthers and Lions are all Good Fits..but send him to an AFC Team

Tyson Jackson was a 1st Round Draft Pick for the KC Chiefs from LSU and never lived up to the expectations ..

He has 14 sacks, in point of fact. 0 in 2012, 4 in 2013, 9 in 2015, one this season. And while those are not world-beating numbers, two things stand out: 1) He’s been a part-time player only; 2) He’s only on the field in pass-rushing situations, when the other team knows he’s coming.

Come on, the eye test alone says that this guy has a nose for the QB.

Curry will bolt after this Season inFree-Agency as he wants to play for a 4-3 Team where he will get a chance to Stsrt and get more snaps which will not happen with the Remaining Eagles, therefore you may as well get some return for him as come next Spring, the Eagles will get zippo for him

More than half the Teams don’t even Play a 4-3 anymore …
Out of 32 NFL Teams, I count the Following who still Play 4-3 Scheme as their Base Defense

NFC – (7 Teams)
Giants, Cowboys, Panthers,TB Bucs, Vikings,Lions & Rams

AFC – (6 Teams)
Jets,Dolphins, Bengals,Titans,Texans, Raiders

There is more emphasis on that Stand-Up OLB who can drop back in Pass-Coverages but can also put their Hand on the Ground for the 3-4 Scheme Teams like the Eagles..

On a Side Note, the Eagles overpaid will and regret committing the amount of $$$ and Years to Brandon Graham over the next 4 Years which really prevents them from signing another Player with basically the same skill set at the same Position. GM Chip Kelly Screwed that one up..

Vinny Curry is 27 years old. What you see is what you get. He is a part time interior pass rusher in the nickle/ dime package maybe give an edge rusher a rest break here and there. Next year he will be 28 years old, an increase in snaps will probable lead to injury within 5 games max.

Should Indy start Matt H? Serious question. Dude has looked worse than Bradford this year by a mile. Were going to see how good he really is soon. He wont be beating up on the same soft div. Peyton did his whole Colt career. They will be in first with a 3-5 record.

Eagles are reportedly interested in Golden Tate and A Bolden..

Kaepernick in this offense could be deadly. If Bradford is not resigned, look for him to be our QB next season.

Another ugly Win by Panther who let a 17 Pt lead evaporate with 9 Minutes left
Where the Colts Tied it up 23-23 and sent the Game to Overtime
Colts get the Ballf first and drive down against an exhausted Panthers Defense and get a FG to go up 26-23
Then Panthers get Ball,Ted Ginn drops a 60 Yard TD Bomb down the left sidelines which would have Won Game.. Cam Newton does not panic and leads them to a 42 Game Tying FG at 26-26 with 7 Minutes in OT
Colts get ball and Luck throws Int where Safety RomanHarper deflects Pass up in the air and Luke Kuechley comes up with INT at 40 Yard Line
Panthers get 5 Yards and Kicker Gano barely squeezes in a 52 Yarder inside the right upright for a 29-26 Victory for the 7-0 Panthers
Crazy Game…

Tony Romo’s loss is devastating reminds me of how bad the Colts were when Peyton was injured, a complete implosion of the franchise.
Ryan Mallet’s behavior reminds me of the Josh Freeman’s tantrum in Tampa.
Not all is bad though – Jamies Winston looks competent as a #1 overall selection. Bortles and Carr have improved from last season and Bridgewater isn’t having a sophomore slump off a decent rookie year.

anyone that wants krappernick here is a damn fool, he is putrid and cant play, guy is benched for blaine gabbert thats all you need to know…

49ers were robbed in the 2nd NFC championship game against Seattle which lead to the Seahawks winning the Super bowl against Denver in a blow out. Kaepernick deserved to play in 2 back to back Superbowls. No one will ever convince me that the NFL didn’t rig that game to have the #1 Offense ( Denver ) vs the # 1 defense ( Seahawk matchup ) Over the top advantageous calls all favored the Seahawks.

Kaepernick would be an upgrade over Bradford, and if he’s available the birds should take a shot to get him

he’s the best fit for Kelly’s offense, he’s terrible in the pocket, but probably has the best arm in the nfl

He doesn’t take stupid hits and he would be Kelly’s first real dual threat, vick was shot and doesn’t run or escape pressure as well, not even close,

the problem with kap would be culture. Kelly doesn’t go for guys like Kaepernick

if the eagles got him this fan base would be energized it would be crazy,

Bradford or Kaepernick, not even close

2 head coaches sacked already in Miami now Tennessee. Many think Colt head coach Chuck Pagano won’t survive. Jim Caldwell has to be on the hot seat after terminating the offensive coordinator and 2 OL coaches then laying an egg in a (45 -10) defeat in London to KC. Head Coach’s who are definitely gone after the Season

Detroit Lions HC Jim Caldwell.. A good guy and Coordinator but just not a Head Coach.. teams lacks Direction, Focus and Energy.
Watch Detroit really go hard after Michigan’s Favortite Son Jim Harbaugh

Indy Colts – HC Chuck Pagano – Just too much Friction between He and GM Grigson and Owner Jim Irsay.. Pagano turned down an 3 Year Extension before the Summer stating it was not enough of a Raise which pissed Irsay off.. He’s a goner and probably best suited as a DC and not a HC
Look for the Colts to Promote Current OC Pepper Hamilton who is Andrew Lucks Former OC From Standford Days

Cleveland Browns HC Mike Pettine – Browns now have one of the Worst Defenses in the NFL which is supposed to be Pettine’s Specialty
They have had questionable Drafts from Trent Richardson, Johnny Football, CB Gilbert who has all been busts and Poor Free-Agent Signings from Paul Kruger.. They seem to have No Direction, No QB, No RB’s & WR’s
(Watch for Bill Cowher to mull over a Big Offer to take the Browns Job and to return to Cleveland where he Played Ball)

Houston Texans – Bill O’Brien who seems overmatched for the Pro’s and is just doesn’t seem to be able to inspire at the NFL Level..
I look for the Texans to Lure Sean Payton from the Saints, who has a rocky relationship with Saints GM Micky Loomis in terms of the DIrection of the Saints Franchise and Salary Cap mess that its in..
I also believe the Colts will make a Push for Sean Payton..

HC who could get the Axe…
Redskins Jay Gruden
GIants Tom Coughlin

HC who are on the Hot Seat for 2016
Chiefs Andy Reid, Eagles Chip Kelly, TB Bucs Lovie Smith, Chargers Mike McCoy, Jaguars Gus Bradley

Current Assistants who could be in Position for Open HC Positions
OC Josh McDaniels of the Patriots
OC Kyle Shanahan of the Falcons
DC Sean McDermott of the Panthers
QB Todd Downing of the Raiders
QB Mike Shula of the Panthers
DC Mike Patricia of the Patriots

Paulman’s NFC Rankings after Week #8

1) Carolina Panthers (7-0) Winning Ugly, But Winning, face the Packers (6-1) at Home next Sunday for what could be the Top #1 Overall Seed..
Panthers Due to get back DE Charles Johnson, DT Dwan Edwards in a couple weeks to help their Front Four which has been banged up..
They also get Center Ryan Kalil Back who is crucial to their Run/Screen Game.. Rumors have the Panthers in the Market for WR A Boldin from the 49ers at the Trade Deadline which would be a Huge Asset to have
(Trending Up)

2) Arizona Cardinals (6-2) Have one of the most Explosive Big PLay Offenses in all the NFL with Deep Pass Threats John Brown and RB’s Chris Johnson and Andre Ellington.. Cardinals have one of the Best Secondaries in all the NFL .. (Trending Up)

3) Packers (6-1) Aaron Rodgers and Packers Entire Team looked Flat last Sunday and were manhandled by the Broncos along the line of Scrimmage
Packers lack of a consistent Running Game due to Eddie Lacey’s selfishness of being 20 lbs overweight and not in top shape has hurt this Team.. Their OL has struggled at OT Positions and they have been inconsistent at WR with Injuries to Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams
Packers Defense and Secondary Play has been Poor, injuries to Starter CB Sam Shields has forced Rookies Randall, Goodson, Rollins into more Playing time in their Secondary (Trending Sideways)

4) Vikings (5-2) – Getting Better and Better as teh Season Goes along
RB AP is back to 100% and seeing the Field very well
QB Bridgewater has improved and plays very smart for a young QB and doesn’t force things if they are not there.. (Great Coaching by OC Norv Turner) – Defensively, the Vikings have a very athletic Team who are physical, fast and swarm to the ball which is the motto of Mike Zimmer Defenses.. Check his Past DC Jobs with the Cowboys and Bengals where he has always had highly Rated Defenses without the Big Star names..
Just Players who know their Roles and play them well
Mike Zimmer is Coach of the Year in my Opinion (Trending Up)

5) Falcons (6-2) – After a Fast Start are beginning to have issues along their OL and DL which started the Season well.. Ryan, Julio Jones and their Offense Production have cooled considerably .. (Trending Down)

Next Group

SL Rams – (4-4) Emergence of RB Todd Gurley makes them a Tough Team
and takes the pressure off of Foles – (Trending Up)
Seahawks – (4-4) Winning Ugly but back to .500 Ball – (trending Up) but still need more out of RB M Lynch who has struggled behind their crap OL all Season.. Russell Wilson cannot win every game with his legs (Trending slighty Up)
Giants (4-4) One of the Worst Defensive Teams in all the NFL
(Trending Down)
Saints (4-4) Getting better and better as the Season Goes, still have a bad Defense but Brees is now over his post Jimmy Graham Hangover and playing with fire and passion as he did a few ywars back.. TE Ben Watson, WR Brandin Cooks & Snead wlth RB’s Ingram and Spiller spreading the Productivity (Trending Up)

Redskins and Eagles both on Bye Weeks and at (3-4) so lets see how they Respond next Week and the TB Bucs (3-4) are improving

Down and Out
Lions,Bears, Cowboys, 49ers
Only the Cowboys still think they have a chance in 2015 as the other Teams are have made moves for the 2016 Season and beyond

If Eagles lose to the Cowboys Next Week, then they need to start making some moves for the Future as well and start parking the Veterans (Celek,Ryans,Austin,Sproles,Biggers) and see what the Young Players can do with more opportunities … (Burton, Agholor, Barner,Hicks,Rowe etc, etc)

Another NFC East Lost Drops the Eagles to 1-3 in their Division Games and down to a 2-5 Record in NFC Conference Games with 10-11 Teams ahead of them with 8 Games left so they would have to leap frog 5 Teams just to be in contention.

I mean, I was actually feeling sorry for the guy watching him the past couple of weeks (due to rumours of him coming to Philly).

He is so bad. Just abysmal. He cannot see what is in front of him. And he cannot throw.

His teammates hate him.

Supposedly he’s this introvert who shuns everyone except his only true friends – tv cameras.

His nickname is Krapernick.

I mean – com’on. For fucks sakes. Please make it stop.

Pepper Hamilton got a raw deal..
Colts have no OL and a banged up QB because of it..
No sense in having all these Speed Receivers if you can’t give the QB time enough to go down field..
Pagano should have kept back up Matt Hasselback playing until Luck was healthy

Rob Chudzinski has been working with the Colts for 3 Seasons and was OC in 2013 and thenPepper Hamilton was hired by GM Grigson since Andrew Luck wanted his guy (Hamilton as OC) which is when some of the riff between GM Grigson and HC Pagano began…Chudzinski is aPagano Guy and Pagano wanted to have his on Staff
There is a battle going on inIndy on who goes (Pagano or GM Grigson)
This move is a Winfor Pagano and a blow for Grigson and Luck…

crossroads decision retain coach to the year interim Bruce Arians or bring back cancer survivor Chuck Pagano.
Wrong decision —
Pittsburgh and Indianapolis both let the brains of their franchise leave.

I agree..
How the Chicago Bears don;t wish they hired Bruce Arians instead of Mark Trestman a few years back… I wished the Eagles Hired Bruce Arians who unfortunately didn’t fit the Big 3 (Lurie,Smolenski & Roseman) Idea of a Head Coach.. Lurie likes his Coach’s to be younger, with the potential of being a 10-15 Year Type of Coach for the Eagles ..

Per Ian Rappaport, the Browns and Bronco’s were close as they almost had a Deal worked out with the following Compensation
2016 Draft Picks – 1st and a 3rd Rounder
2017 Draft Pick – 2nd and a 4th Rounder

Then at the Last Minute the Browns Demanded 3 Draft Picks in 2016
1st, 3rd & 4th Rounders and John Elway told them to pound sand and call up Earnest Byner for crying out loud…
Pettine and Staff along with bonehead GM Ray Farmer will all be Terminated

I really expect a Push for Bill Cowher to take over the Browns, His Girls are older and out of College now, He’s over his Wife’s Passing of a Couple Years ago and has the itch to get back in per Sources, but he wants control which he will get from the Browns…
I expect Phil Savage to be hired as their GM and Bill Cowher will lure back Dick LeBeau from the Titans, who have their own mess on their hands, to rebuild the Browns Defense…
The Mistake by the Lake will become relevant again under Bill Cowher who would love it to stick it to the Steeler’s Twice a Year for things did not end the way he wanted them and there was a growing Friction between the Front Office (GM Corbett) and Bill Cowher..

I agree, but Agholor has lot to prove and will likely get less snaps that Matthews,Cooper and Huff until he proves otherwise regardless if he lines up on their First Offensive Play or not to Start the Game..
I don’t consider Agholor a Starter by virtue of his minimal production and has been a huge disappointment thus far as he really looked good and like a solid starter back in the Summer, which is why I should not even watch Pre-Season Games which mean absolutely nothing against Vanilla Packages and going against less Talented Players who don’t make NFL Rosters..

yet the preseason was the cause of your 7-8 win prediction to flip flop to a 11-12 win prediction.
If you watch enough NFL and I know you do then you have to realize that every year a team that goes 0-4 in preseason ends up making a deep run and a team that goes 4-0 has a horrible year. they shouldn’t even keep score.

Agholor was playing the most snaps out of the wide receiver’s every game until he was injured – Huff would replace Cooper, Matthews would leave in Double TE sets but no one replaced Agholor. He pretty much played every snap on the right side. That is one of my pet peeves about the chipper is he won’t adapt. In 2 TE sets Jordan Matthews should move outside ( he doesn’t he leave the game). Billy Davis adapted to his roster and moved Jenkins to nickle corner and inserted Marogos to Jenkins spot. Chipper has his starters penciled in and doesn’t deviate. Jason Peters gets injured almost every other HC would of slid Lane Johnson to LT, not the Chipper, he put Matt Tobin the second string RG to LT. Doesn’t recognize Ryan Matthews is hot get him the ball, nope not going to deviate.

Playing the most snaps, and doing absolutely nothing with that time.

Everyone on here said he would replace Jeremy Maclin – see what I mean; wishful thinking. He has talent but he should have been targeted for the 2nd round, or not drafted at all, and just bit the bullet, and resigned Maclin.

Snaps mean nothing when there is no production to go with it – total non sense to bring up – screw snaps.

And Josh Huff. absolutely sucks, and shouldn’t have been drafted.

If Agholor can’t beat him out for playing time that says a lot for his overall talent, if he can’t take time away from someone who has no business in the league.

He can that Chip Kelly, and his lack of talent in NFL Talent Evaluation for the NFL Checks he receives he better save up, it won’t be long before he is where he belongs – in the Arena League

Rumors already as I stated 2 Months ago that the Lions will go hard after Native Michigan Son Jim Harbaugh from the U of Michigan which puts Harbaugh and the Team in a tight spot..
These Folks in the Midwest love their College Programs more than their Pro Franchises so If Harbaugh bails on the U Of Michigan Program to take the Lions Job, he will catch a lot of flak… If he turns them down to remain the Wolverines HC, he will catch a lot of flak…
I think Jim Harbaugh may end up taking the Indy Colts Job and be the HC with authority over the Roster/Player Personnel as Owner Jim Irsay Fires both HC C Pagano & GM Ryan Grigson…

The bowling green coach runs the Baylor system ,having been a protege ..I went through a lot of what ifs ..in the last week of the bye ..what if chip ,humbles himself ,looks inward and actually gets off to a fast start offensively ..last I remember that happening was the last Dallas game in there house ..can he swallow his pride ,and feature Demarco in his old house..if ever he was going to pad his bank ,this is the game in Jerrys house..on national tv..this is the game we all circled ,when we made this signing..Add to the what if …that hhe’s dominating…it changes everything ..the slot opens up ,the cheating on defense ceases ,and play action develops a what if scenario..all freaking year ,the. Run and pass game have failed to tantalize in unison..the closest to that what if. Was the Atlanta 4th quarter .what if that could have magically appeared after the bye..How much more clock would that utilize on offense allowing your strongest unit to get a blow in th critical 1st and 4th quarters ..my what if …what if the offense matched the defense and special teams …and then I recall Sam I am ,is my man…what if he had an epiphany ,a re-birth..the NFC east has no true foe ..butt hens sense of..what. If we donuts enter your head…what if that wasn’t the norm?

Is Andy Dalton going to be this year’s Joe Flacco?

Flacco’s 1st 4 years: 44-20 60% 13800yrds 80tds 56ints
Dalton 1st 4 years: 40-23 60% 14500yrds 99tds 66ints

(similar)

In both cases EVERYONE calling for them to be replaced. Teams stayed the course.

Flacco’s first 4 playoffs: 2-2 56% 600yrds 1 td 6 ints
Dalton’s first 4 playoffs: 0-4 56% 800yrds 0td 6 ints

Will Cinci be rewarded for their patience????????

PATIENCE with young QBs

Or….like the Eagles trade their 3rd year QB (better than both Dalton or Flacco at the same point)….trade him for a 5 year nobody.

Vinnie, the lack of patience in QB’s in the NFL, in my opinion is ruining the position. When you see Luck, RGME, Krap etc get thrown into the limelight early on, meet some early success and then ‘the nfl happens’ and they struggle, get figured out or whatever it seems to implode on them- people forget rodgers sat for a few years. Brees did not start year 1 and was 10-17 in his next two years- The nfl is qb hell right now and its largely due to impatience.

Living down here in NC, I have seen most Panther Games and HAC is correct
with that Drop Passes Stat.. Cam Newton would be have a much better Statistical Season if not for those Drops, for which many of them were pretty big play opportunities as opposed to Bradford 6-8 Yard Crossing Routes..
Bradford is in the Bottom 1/5th of about every QB statistical Category in a very QB Friendly System that has seen the less talented QB’s in Mark Sanchez & Nick Foles put up Career #’s while Playing in Kelly’s System

Bottom LIne, Chip Kelly took an unwarranted chance with Sam Bradford to attempt to make a Deep Playoff Run over keeping the limited Nick Foles,
Now fast forward 8-9 months and its Foles and the St Louis Rams looking good to make the Post-Season while the Eagles are still below .500 trying to find an Identity.. Kelly talks about being a Power Rushing Team, but the reality is that the Eagles simply do not have the horses up front to be one, They are not much different than when AR was Coaching which is basically a finesse, horizontal attack Offense with Speed, but not Power and Strength and therefore will continue to struggle against Physical & Athletic Defenses
which the Cowboys, Cardinals, Patriots, Bills all have waiting for Bradford

Cowboys DL/Front 7 with DE Greg Hardy and ILB McClain now back and playing makes them fresh and very Physical and Athletic at the point of attack.. DT’s Tyrone Crawford gives Center Jason Kelce Fits.. LB Sean Lee will be free to roam around and make plays and take Demarco Murray out of the Game.. …
This will be anyone’s game and probably a 20-16 Type of Score…

Breakdown of Eagles/Cowboys Game based on 2015 Stats

Offense
Eagles Rank #19 – Average 353 Yards per Game with 239 Yards Passing & 114 Yards Rushing for 23 Points per Game
Cowboys Rank #23 – Average 346 Yards per Game with 218 Yards Passing & 128 Yards Rushing for 19 Points per Game
(Which Team Converts Red-Zone Chances into TD’s and 7Pts and not FG’s Wins)

Defense
Cowboys Rank 7th giving up 337 Yards per Game with 234 Yards Passing and only 103 Yards Rushing and 24 Points per Game
Eagles Rank 14th giving up 360 Yards per Game with 251 Yards Passing and only 110 Yards Rushing and only 20 Points per Game
(Which Team can Run the Ball for 150 Yards + Wins)

Sacks –
Eagles Rank 19th with only 15 Sacks for the Season
Cowboys Rank 23rd with only 13 Sacks for the Season (But are improved with Greg Hardy in their Lineup)
(What Team can get to the QB more often to force the opposing QB’s into bad and rushed Passes Wins)

Turnovers
Eagles Rank #7 with 19 Takeaways/15 Giveaways for a Plus 4 (but 15 Giveaways is still too high in my opinion)
Cowboys Rank #30th with only 4 Takeaways and 12 Giveaways for a Minus 8 which is Terrible..

(If Eagles Protect the Ball and make’s Cowboys weak attack, low scoring, lack of big plays with no Romo at QB have to drive the length of the field most of the game to score points, then the Eagles Win going away
If Eagles get careless with the Ball and give the Cowboys a Cheap 7pts or short Field Position, then the Cowboys have a real chance of Winning their first Game without QB Romo

Kicking will be huge
Cowboys Dan Bailey is one of the NFL’s Best Kickers
He’s 14-14 on FG Attempts and 13 for 13 on Xtra Points Made for 100% on all his Kicking Attempts

Eagles Caleb Sturgis is 9 for 11 on FG Attempts and also 9 for 11 on Xtra Points Made

Final Score Eagles 20-16 in a low-scoring,hard hitting,sloppy Game
Eagles live to play another week, while the Cowboys are toast for the 2015 Season… Eagles Have the Dolphins, TB Bucs & Lions the following 3 Games to really get into Position and possibly Improve to 7-4 for the Final Stretch Run of the Season with 5 Tough Games to finish with (Patriots, Bills,Cardinals,Redskins & Giants ..
But First things First, Eagles need to take care of business and beat a Team who is on their 3rd QB and back-up RB’s

I agree–Chip Kelly’s Horizontal Scheme’s and Plays struggle versus the Cowboys Defense and DC Rod Marinelli.. the Cowobys Front 7 are too athletic and quick sideline to sideline to do consistent damage on..
The way to attack them is in-between the Tackles with North/South Running which calls for a Lead Blocker like a FB/HB or in the Eagles case a TE
which is one of the problem areas of Chip Kelly’s Scheme as he doesn’t utilize Lead Blocking Backs or FB’s ..
No Jason Peters means that TE Brett Celek will be kept in about every snap to help Lane Johnson Block on DE Greg Hardy which will also mean one of their Safeties can now now be concerned with CElek in the passing routes and can lay the wood on one of the Eagles Receivers coming across the middle on of those slant, drag routes…

Eagles have a huge opportunity here.

This Dallas team is on the brink. Really close. A big Eagles win here will push them right over the edge…not just for this year, but potentially several seasons to come.

A big Eagles win and you will see an explosion of infighting, a new coach in the offseason and more.

Romo will be 36 next year and the slope will only steepen.

And into that “leadership” void….Dex Bryant and Greg Hardy. One is a emotional meathead and the other is a completely horrible person.

There are all kinds of rumblings about divisions on that team…not everyone is happy about having those two clowns around. Eagles win could blow this whole thing wide open and the reverberations felt for years.

The Eagles (and I am not over-exaggerating) have the opportunity to cripple those Boys for a couple years.

Of course….same could be said about the Eagles if they lose big I suppose…..

The Bradford hate is connected to the Kelly hate and so many have jumped on that in gleeful anticipation-hoping that the Eagles lose and then get rid of Kelly.
So much so that all objectivity goes out the window about Bradford,
-his receivers drop more passes than anyone in the league-so what
-the guy hasn’t played in two years-who cares
-the guy had no running game and the offensive line was horrible-irrelevant
I know…haters will ignore all of that…Bradford is not Tom Brady so he sucks

The Chipper’s records before Bradford arrived (10-6 in 2013) (10-6 in 2014 ).
Eagles current record is ( 3-4). Nine games left in the season. Sam Bradford must win ( 7-2 ) just to equal that record or (8-1) to better it.
NO EXCUSES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eagles have no running game? Yet they are better than half the teams in the league in every single rushing category.

Koolbreeze your arguments are always factually incorrect , opinion oriented & mostly dick riding man love for loooooozahs arguments.

I don’t stalk the ex girlfriend Kool..but I do hate the GM ..nobody ,unless delusional and if not trolling ,can be heightened by any of the moves ,and there contributions towards a winning season. In an NFC,in which nobody is a clear front runner, our GM has set us backwards ..simply stated ,he felt compelled to make wholesale changes ,some I agreed with ,however ,others made me bemused in there rationale? You can’t disconnect ,the offseason and his ineffective Offensive showing ,halfway into the season. He and his team ,get a clean slate ..no more excuses ..go step on a hated foes neck.Anything short of that will be deemed a failure ..Holiday sales of Eagle jerseys will be slower than the proverbial pig n mud…and the town ,once again will be searching for directing ..a convincing win ,however will be validation ..

hedging the bet huh deserteagle! Want to be able to position yourself in case the Eagles get hot to be able hop back on the bandwagon easily…but at the same time be able to bash them and say you were right if things dont go well!
Yup…I see it!
Like I said and I’m standing by it…Bradford is getting better-his poor play is totally understandable when you rationally consider that the guy hasn’t played in 2 years and his receivers have continually dropped passes AND have been below average.
We all thought Agholor was going to step up and replace Maclin…everyone called that…it hasn’t happened and the guy hurt most has been Bradford.
The Eagles will beat Dallas…and Dallas is playing very good on the Defensive side of the ball. The improvement that we saw in Bradford in the Carolina game will continue and by the end of the year….their will be some crow to serve to everyone of you!
And I’ma serve it hot!

Dumhenski aka Englishchecker, aka spellcheker..aka Dumbass.
Learn how to read!
Early in the year the Eagles “HAD” problems running the ball and the offensive line played like shit.
This is why I said: -the guy had no running game
What they “HAVE” now is improvement. The running game is getting better. The Offensive Line is playing better. The Quarterback is playing better.

“Bradford is getting better!”

Greg Cosell 2012
“Bradford [has been] tentative in the pocket, not mentally sharp, and at times he did not let it loose when he had a throw. An inconsistent profile had been established. What really stood out as the year [has progressed is] Bradford’s reaction to pressure — the issue that first surfaced in his rookie season against Kansas City. It is easy to place the blame on the…poor pass protection, but that circumvents the more essential point. You must be able to function effectively in a muddied and noisy pocket to play quarterback well in the NFL, and Bradford began to perceive pressure that was not there. He was anticipating the rush, and you cannot perform that way, no matter what kind of talent you have throwing the football.

[Bradford’s] velocity ha[s] decreased; he [i]s not driving the ball down the field….His precise ball location, a feature of his game as a rookie, had waned. He missed some throws that were there. He had very little sense of timing with his receivers. He threw some balls too early, and some too late; the passing game was clearly out of synch.”

Louis Riddick Aug 2015
“Worry about lower body weight transfer and resulting accuracy w Sam Bradford” #skinnylegs

Ron Jaworski Sept 2015
“He’s favoring the left leg. I can see it when bodies are around him. He’s not transferring that weight. The ball is coming out with a lack of energy. His footwork is bad. I can’t say any more simply than that”

November 2015
“For whatever reason, Bradford struggles when he does not have a clean pocket. This struggle is one of the primary reasons why Bradford is such a frustrating quarterback to watch. In training camp and preseason — when pressure is virtually nonexistent — Bradford’s pinpoint accuracy and quick decision making are on full display. But when the pressure comes, Bradford freezes up. His mechanics become sloppy, he gets rid of the ball too quickly, and he becomes wildly inaccurate.”

Bradford is the EXACT SAME as he has been for 6 years.

Go change your pic to a Greg Hardy mug shot putz.

Nobody is second guessing …I’m pretty certain of the facts ..The GM screwed this up and he’s put himself in the cross hairs..of this I’m certain..can the team rally for a huge road win..sure ..can it put consecutive wins together ? I am not seeing it so far ..do I want it to happen ..hell yes..will it ..I doubt very much ..

who cares!! The bitching and moaning about Hardy is ridiculous!

the reality is that I would take Hardy on the Eagles with quickness!

I dont care about what a guy says, I dont care that he’s not a nice guy.

The guy went to court, they didn’t incarcerate him…they dropped the charges and expunged his record.

You gave him the bucks, now all of this moralizing, hand wrangling, and self-righteous moaning about the guy!

Stop it…its all bull!

Eagles will win the Dallas game.

I mean I think a Blaine Gabbert led 49ers team could beat Dallas right now. Well, almost. This is Gabbert we’re talking about.

Don’t count that TB win yet.

I think they will make a year being spoiler and winning some games they shouldn’t.

Agree with the rest of what you’re saying, though The Bills could be a W for the Eagles.
