Final Thoughts

For anyone that was around to watch this game on a Wednesday afternoon, this was a pretty entertaining show.

10 runs on 20 hits. Its the first time the Phils have managed 20 hits since 2013.

Nick Williams continues to power the offense, with two more triples today, Williams now has 11 RBI’s on the the team’s road trip. Cesar Hernandez has returned and given the team a solid presence at second base. Even Maikel Franco has picked things up over the last week.

The Phillies have a horrendous record, but they don’t completely lack talent.

Go Phillies… I read where Altherr will be out for 4-5 Weeks with Hamstring Injuries.. It would have been nice to see the Combo of Herrera,Hernandez,Altherr,Williams & Franco play together to see if they can gel and be that next future core of good Players, maybe this can happen come September. for they certainly have the talent and skills to be exciting to watch and score some Runs to stay in many Ballgames.. There will be lots of Young Players who will get their opportunities which is about all you can ask for when your Team is 25 Games below .500 and out of the Wild-Card Race by the All-Star Break.. Football Camp is a couple of weeks away..

Football camp is only a couple days away Paulman not weeks. What a novel concept you bring up one of your 10 prospects &Williams) and he produces go figure. Maybe the Phillies will actually bring up some more prospects as they rot away in triple A and all turn 28.

Camp opens next Week, Pre-Season Games Start in a Couple of Weeks..
Should be an interesting and Competitive Summer Camp along the OL,WR and RB Position Groups as well as the LB and CB Positions on the Defense..
Maybe about 20 Players fighting for about 6-7 Spots…
