Video: Eagles Beat 49ers, 33-10, But The “O” Wasn’t Sharp

The Eagles beat the winless San Francisco 49ers today, 33-10, but they weren’t thrilled about the victory because it wasn’t one of their better games from the offensive standpoint.  The Niners battled the Birds throughout most of the first half and were trailing only by 3-0.

Unfortunately for the Niners, they gave up two touchdowns within a couple of minutes.   The San Francisco defense committed a pass interference penalty in the end zone, then from the one-yard line, Carson Wentz completed a pass to Zach Ertz for a touchdown.

A few plays later, Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills stepped in front of Pierre Garcon on an out route and picked off the pass and ran it back for a touchdown.

Here you have Lane Johnson, Zach Ertz and Jason Kelce talking about the game and how the offense played.

2 dirty plays by the Eagles defense. Malcolm Jenkins took out RT Gilliam and Fletcher Cox took out LT Staley.

Jenkins play was not dirty, you really are a idiot when it comes to football, when you have a situation like that a guy has to create chaos to start a pile up on that play…….eos when did you become so dumb

I have to be honest, this game had me nervous for three reasons
1. The weather was messy and sloppy games can go either way.
2. The Eagles have a history of losing games like this, games they were heavily favored in.
3.The 49ers are such a pathetic team I expected the Eagles to come out listless against them because it’s just hard to get up for an opponent that is that bad. Luckily the 49er offense is woeful and the Eagles defense very strong. The offense took a while to get going, but did what it needed to do to score 27 points.
The good thing is that the Eagles took care of business and beat a bad team…that’s what good teams do.

7-1…FLY EAGLES FLY!!!
