Yesterday the Eagles surprised a lot of NFL fans by trading a 2018 fourth round pick to the Miami Dolphins for Pro Bowl running back Jay Ajayi.  Eagles V.P. of Football Operations talked about Ajayi’s youth and his talent.  He said Ajayi was a player who could fit into what they want to do on the field and his presence wouldn’t have a negative effect on the football team.

Ajayi stands 6’0″ even and he weighs 229 pounds.   He is an aggressive and physical downhill runner who loves to make one cut and hit the accelerator. The former Dolphins running back had a huge year in the 2016-17 season by coming out of nowhere to gain over 1272 yards.  He had three games in which he ran for over 200 yards.

There have been reports about Ajayi, that he hasn’t been happy with his number of touches.
