Eagles Hire Sirianni

Per ESPN’s Tim McManus and Sal Paolantonio, the Eagles are expected to announce they have hired Indianapolis Colts Offensive Coordinator Nick Sirianni as Head Coach.

Sirianni was the San Diego Chargers QB coach in 2014 and 2015 while Reich was OC and then was brought to Indianapolis when Reich was hired in 2018.

The hire seems to signal that the front office is committed to keep Carson Wentz for at least the next year. The connection with Reich is significant in that, while Reich was the OC for Wentz in 2017, Wentz had his best season of his career, before getting hurt.

Wentz is entering his second year under his new contract and moving him would be quite the financial burden on a team that is already way over the salary cap.

While the Eagles have not confirmed reports, the expectation is that Sirianni and his staff will be tasked with rebuilding Wentz albeit in what could be a rebuilding year.

Who benefits from this besides Wentz?

The Colts last year used a three back attack to take the pressure off of Philip Rivers and the offense. Rookie Jonathan Taylor stepped up after Marlon Mack went down with an Achilles Injury. Veterans Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins had solid seasons in both the run game and passing game. The Colts don’t have a clear-cut number one receiver but the Colts use route combinations to get players like TY Hilton, Michael Pittman the ball in open space.

This bodes well for both Miles Sanders and Boston Scott. Both backs excel in the run game and can catch balls out of the back field. Getting Sanders and Scott involved early will allow them to gain a rhythm and help take some pressure off Wentz. The Eagles do not have a clear-cut number one receiver either, but Sirianni could use Reagor and Fulghman in ways he used TY Hilton and Michael Pittman.

*A potential name to watch to come with Sirianni is Anthony Lynn. Lynn and Sirianni have a relationship that goes back to their time with the Chargers. *

  1. I like this Hire and Excited to see who he brings on the Staff.. Been around Coaching most iof his adult Life as his Father/Brother are both lifelong Coaches, He’s from Northwestern PA and has Football in his Blood
He’s 39 Years but has 10 Years of Coaching Experience in the NFL already which is impressive to get such a young start.
He’s worked with some Good Offensive Coaches like Anthony Lynn, Mike McCoy , Ken Wisenhut, Todd Haley Jim Zorn, Brian Daboll and Frank Reich.
    .
Defensively he’s worked with Good Coaches as well Matt Eberflus who will likely be a strong HC Candidate next Season for someone and also Defensive Coaches like John Pagano & Joe Barry & Romeo Crennel in his past

I also like the fact that he’s Coached WR’s before moving up to QB’s Coach and Offensive Coordinator though he did not call Plays during Games
As WR Coach with the Chiefs and Chargers -He’s helped Developed WR’s like Dwayne Bowe, Malcolm Floyd, Keenan Allen, Eddie Royal, Tyrell Williams, Vincent Brown when he was a WR Coach
At QB, He’s Worked with Phil Rivers, Andrew Luck and Jacoby Brissett
Colts have had Top 10 Offenses in 2 of his 3 Years in Indy and has also contributed to the RB Room in having versatile RB’s who can run and catch and be important parts of the Offense (Marlon Mack, N Hines, J Taylor while at the Colts and Melvin Gordon & Danny Whitehead while with the Chargers

I know many Fans are disappointed with the Eagles passing over Duce Staley once again, but I believe this Hire of Sirianna is a very good Hire and obviously will need some time to get his people and program in place
He’s demanding, yet not arrogant and Coaches his Players and Fellow Coaches hard which will be nice to see
He’s flexible with you utilizing Game Plans based on Personnel whether its a Run First Offense, Pass Happy Offense and has demonstrated utilizing the 12 Offense with Multiple TE Sets while with Indy and Chargers

With Next Week’s Senior Bowl Week being the only real “In-Person” Scouting/Talent Evaluation Event for this Years Upcoming Draft due to the Covid Crisis which has cancelled the Indy-Combine Event and will cancel many College Pro Days, It was imperative that the Eagles have a HC and some semblance of a Staff so they can have a Plan moving forward when it comes to the Draft and I believe many Local Media and Fans have not taken this in account enough…
How can you really evalute Players if you don’t have a HC or an Offensive, Defensive Philosophy in mind yet ?
The Eagles simply were not in a position to wait another Week or 2 for other potential Candidates (Bienemy or Kafka or Daboll to finish) or whoever else as some of these Candidates withdrew their Interest anyways, as
many of the OC/DC and Position Coaches that are available are being hired by other Teams with Coaches in Place as I write this ..

    1. 1. I think any of the names have the possibility of being good or a disaster.
      2. every year the hot names get gobbled up and they are no more a sure thing than the lesser known guys- many a hot names get hired and fired quickly — remember we got Doug P as a ‘last resort’ and we got Chip as the hot guy– MEANS ZERO
      3. Like all new coaches this guy has to win the locker room- it is not done w/ X’s and O’s- from media reports (only so reliable) this guy appears to be a carson hire, meaning the Duce folks and the Doug folks are going to have to be convinced with actions not words-
      4. It probably signals the end of some big names for the eagles, even if they sell pennies on the dollar
      5. I predict more than normal new faces on the eagles roster next year… upwards of 20-25 (pushing 50%)

      1. This Hire is definitely about attempting to Fix Carson Wentz but also an eye to the Future as well
I believe with the Strong Recommendation/Endorsements by Frank Reich and John Dorsey made this Hire a No-Brainer.. I’m sure Sirianna had a real good Plan on how to Fix and probably got a lot of insight and recommendations on how to Deal/Coach with Wentz from Coach Reich before he ever boarded a plan to Lurie’s place in FL
I also believe that this Season is a major Re-Tooling and Re-Shaping of the Roster and to get out of the Salary Cap Hell that they currently sit which Owner Lurie said would take about 12 months to do..
This Hire is all about 2022/2023 Seasons and Progress with Wentz and the Roster needs to get younger and cheaper which has between stated by many people for the last couple of Off-Seasons
Do Note that there could still be a slight chance that Wentz wants out no matter what, but for this to happen may require him to re-do his Contract which who knows if he’s willing to do..

Meanwhile here are some Predictions about this New Coaching Crew that were Hired this Year

First New Coach Who loses his HC Job ..
Urban Meyer at Jacksonville will step down after 2 Seasons for Health Reasons
(He can’t stand losing and it will drive him nuts)

First New Coach to Win “Coach of the Year”
        Arthur Smith – Falcons

First New Coach to make the Playoffs
Brandon Staley – Chargers, There’s a lot of Talent on this Chargers Team

First New Coach to Yell and Get in Fight with the Local Media during a Press Conference
        Greg Saleh – NY Jets

First New Coach to get an Extension and Raise
        Nick Sirianna – Eagles

First New Coach to Go Unnoticed around Town all Off-Season
        Dan Campbell – Detroit Lions

  2. Coaches on the Hot Seat in 2021

    1) Vick Fangio – Denver Broncos
    2) Mike Zimmer – Minnesota Vikings
    3) Mike McCarthy – Dallas Cowboys
    4) Zac Taylor – CIncinnati Bengals
    5) Surprise Coach – Mike Tomlin – Pittsburgh Steelers

  3. Trade Rumors and More Speculation

Texans discussing Sending QB D Watson to the Carolina Panthers in Exchange of Draft Picks and Players
Panthers hired Scott Fitterer as their GM and who was a former Asst GM to John Schneider of Seattle for years
and is known as an solid Talent Evaluator and Player Personnel Executive and is known to be aggressive in pursuing Talented Players like his former Boss John Schneider of the Seahawks has always been

QB Questions at so many Teams this Off-Season besides the Eagles, its remarkable really..
The Patriots, Steelers, Jets, Colts, Bears, Broncos, Texans, NO Saints, Washington FC and Carolina
and then toss in Teams with New Coaches/GM’s like Atlanta and Detroit who may look to move on from
Matt Ryan and Matt Stafford as they re-tool their Teams

    1. ” is known to be aggressive in pursuing Talented Players like his former Boss John Schneider of the Seahawks has always been”– paul you crack me up! there are 32 GMs in football currently doing the exact same thing! buddy you crack me up.
AS for the QB carousel 100% agreed it shows just how important that position is… teams seasons are so QB dependent. Add in the huge chunk of salary cap they take up- it makes for some interesting dynamics across the league. — you mentioned 12 teams and I think that ‘could be’ light– Cowboys, do they pay Dak a 1 year $36M salary after a rehab of ACL? (not a QB friendly injury), Giants (are they really riding w/jones?), Miami (are they Tua believers???)– this is the reason why the italian stallion was hired– fix carson

      1. John Schneider of the Seahawks is probably the most aggressive GM’out there HAC… Anyone who follows the Entire NFL would acknowledge this..
trade Ups, Trade Downs every Draft
Signing Players that other Teams cast off
Trading Star Players after he feels that they have peaked.. He does a great Job with his Roster and Salary Cap Management which keeps the Seahawks relevant every Season

        1. Aaah you have a guy that GMs your home team who is super aggressive moving up and down, drafting “hidden talent” and stowing it away… I don’t like it but it’s ballsy. Got from what the 15th pick to 2 thru a series of bold moves. Traded their starting qb days before the season …The Jones pick was an aggressive attempt to steal round 1 talent that backfired. Seahawks have made aggressive moves that didn’t work as well. Belicheat typically is a down trader etc. the packers aggressively drafted a QB in round one when they have the best player in the league. Teams do that stuff. Hell Howie ,over up like 15 spots in the 7th to draft Malaita.., that’s aggressively pursuing talent! Wow
I knew you justify your post but if a GM isnt aggressively pursuing talent in the most aggressive brutal sport then he isnt employed.. just ludicrous

  4. Eagles are whack as fuck

Seventy sixers straight balling the fuck out!!!

    Toby poof stud

Joel playing outta this world – mvp ?

SeTH curry – wow Elton and morey !!!! Straight fleeced Marc Cuban and traded a Wendy’s cashier for Seth curry who is a rich mans jj reddick!!!!

    Danny green !!!! Sick

Dwight Howard – always hated his ass but what a great roll player , locker room leader , great teammate firing up his squad when he sitting

    ShAAAAAAAAAKE!!!!!!! 6th man of year!!!!!

Ben – Meh offensively but insane defense

This team skullfucking everything and everyone.

    Let’s fucking go

    1. Sixers playing excellent yet still playing second fiddle in this town… but that’s ok. They look like all their parts are clicking very well. Let’s bring this up deep into the playoffs when their half court game stalls because a professional basketball player won’t take a 15 foot wide open J. Hence they play 4 v 5. I hope I’m proven wrong I just don’t see how that can happen in the deep playoffs.

  5. Hello, i think that i saw you visited my weblog and I am attempting to find things to improve my site!I suppose its ok to use some of your ideas! I believe this website has got some rattling excellent information for everyone.“I like work it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours. I’m gone to tell my little brother, that he should also go to see this web site on regular basis to obtain updated from newest information.

  6. Strong Rumors that Carolina Panthers are making moves up to make a trade for QB DeShaun Watson as they Hired former Texan QB Coach Sean Ryan and GM Scott Fitterer of the Seattle Seahawks who worked under GM
    John Schneider
Initial Offer is QB Tedy Bridgewater, DE Brian Burns and their First Round in 2021 Pick (#10th Overall) , 3rd Round Pick (74th) and their 1st Round Pick in 2022 and 4th Round Pick in 2022

Panthers are waiting to hear back from the Texans

    1. Eagles hire young hot shot DC from colts. Word is tgey will hire an older OC for balance. I have contacted them to apply. I will install the Delaware Wing T. It’s a heavy run oriented deception offense. It used to lead college football in production through the 70-90’s … big time points.
If I get the job week one we put up 50 points, week 2 35 points then when th DCs figure it out and we score roughly 7 -10 points per game… I get fired, Laurie pays me my final 2 years of my 3 year contract

      1. You mean the Colts Secondary Coach Gorman ?
The Colts DC is Matt Eberflus and next move or promotion would be up to a HC
Hopefully they Hire Anthony Lynn, Matt McCoy or Todd Haley as OC to add some Coaching experience to the Staff

        Other Eagles news
Former TE Coach Justin Pelle, took a position with Arthur Smith’s Staff for the Atlanta Falcons

Eagles also have granted permission to Special Teams Coach David Fipp to explore opportunities so they are cleaning house and I expect Duce Staley will likely move on as well

        1. I like FG’s Hire of Gannon for DC
They will Draft and Rebuild this Secondary this upcoming Draft with 2-3 early picks on the Defense.
Again, Senior Week is Next week and will be one the few times all Draft run up to see Prospects in person so it’s imperative to have most of their Staff together with a plan and shared experiences
Eagles are going Young,Young, Young with Players and Coaches and I love it and I’m still not 100% sold that Carson Wentz is still part of the picture as an Eagle moving forward
Keep an eye on QB Kelly Mond of Texas A & M during Senior Week
I think he’s going to play and show well and could move up the Draft Boards and is 6-2” 220lbs and a very good Athlete
and a bigger version of Jalen Hurts and could be a surprise 2nd/3rd Rounder
Draft Selection to add to the QB Room
As Sudfeld will be gone and the Eagles only have Wentz and Hurts under Contract entering the 2021 Season so they likely will add a QB in this Draft to have a cheap back-up under contract for 4 Years in case they move on from Wentz

      2. That was so funny cigar I didn’t know an old limp dick son of some foreign rejects had so much humor. Your like a chameleon your personality sucks so now your taking after Paulman and his jokes . Your just a washed up old loser who has no identity other than being a total dick. How does your kids deal with you if they even do?

        1. Well I will admit I was sharper in my younger days… of course I’m still way sharper than you. Have 2 houses, first grand kid gonna learn to swim in my pool this summer. Kids are pretty good, I have a daughter who has a pretty big job in VA that I wish I saw more but we both make time and do ok…
by the way, check your grammar. Punctuation and grammar mistakes make you look stupid. Subject/verb agreement is important when trying to make a point.

  7. Detroit Lions with their New GM & HC and Long time QB Matt Stafford with Ownershios blessing have decided to Trade Stafford for Draft Capital as they begin their Rebuild
Stafford is 33 Years and has 2 Years left under his Current Contract which pays him
$20 Million in 2021 and $23 Million Due in 2022
Stafford is from Texas and is will be pursued by many Teams at a very reasonable Salary
Detroit is pushing the QB Revolving Door early in the process which is a very smart move by them and will likely force other Teams who are unsure about their QB situations (which are many Teams) will now have to decide and move earlier as Teams will start making moves
By Early/Mid March before Free-Agency and of course the Draft
    Teams reportedly interested in Stafford
The Colts, Panthers, Washington FT, Patriots, Saints, Bronco, the Cowboys

  8. I think the go young thing is an effort to put young hungry guys around wentz. Remember a couple years ago when he put a bunch of young practice squad guys in his shoulders snd got them to playoffs. It’s a chance to hit reset …. it can work for sure.
I’m hoping that the new defensive philosophy is a bit more aggressive. I think Schwartz was good. I like his insistence on good DL BUT I think playmaker LBs are important. This kid in TB is a game changer

    1. This could be the Year the Eagles Drat a LB with their Top Pick (LB M Parsons)
Play him in the Middle with Singleton as the Strong Side LB would be the makings of a pretty good, lengthy and athletic LB Corp
Maybe Davian Taylor play the Week side for a speedy group

      1. Eagles could actually Trade Down from #6 to the #9-#10-#12 range and still likely can get LB M Parsons or at least one of the Top 2 CB’s (Sutain or Farley) or one of the Top DE’s (Rousseau, Paye) in this Draft and acquire an extra pick or two for sliding back 4-5 Spots

        1. With the QB shuffle league wide I believe the off season/draft will be the wild Wild West. The QB position is so damn complex right now. The four teams this weekend have 2 GOAT guys and 2 young dynamic guys. QBs have more flux in how they perform… the whole key for the birds is Wentz…. is he ab,e to be cured?
Eagles need to infuse talent (as do the other 31)… I wanna see this: if Dillard is truly a round one OL he should be a talented addition , If a new coaching staff can get JJAW to be a player that’s an extra 2 rounder, Mailata graded out very well…can Dillard play guard?

          1. I’m not sure Dillard can play Guard but they would be smart to work him at LG position to learn playing inside .
He’ll have to get stronger for sure but there were many reports last summer that he did get stronger last off-season from his Rookie Season
I don’t think he ever played any of the interior OL positions while at College
and was strictly a OT from day one

If Center Kelce does Retire, then Seumalo can slide to Center and Dillard/Herbig can compete at LG,
with Coach Stoutland now reportedly returning , maybe Kelce squeezes 1 more Season in..
I have to believe that Mailata is the Starting LT next Camp/Season and especially with Stoutland back

This Off-Season will be crazy and we could see 12-15 Teams Change QB’s between Free Agency,Trades, Retirements, Cuts and High Draft Picks
I’m not sure if this helps/hurts the Eagles cause if indeed, Wentz simply wants out of Town which wouldn’t make sense, but hey, it’s 2021 and anything is possible and the Eagles do have have to prepare if he truly wants out..

  9. Bad Trade Rumors
Eagles Send both Carson Wentz and Jalen Hurts to the Green Bay Packers for Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love, Details at 11pm

  10. To the eagles fans that whine about the running game. Remember I’ve been saying all along that in the NFL teams pile up rushing attempts when they have passed a lot to get a lead. For proof lets point to the 2 SB teams. The chiefs ran 25 times… nice number but as I stated 13 of those attempts were in the 4th quarter when they had the lead.
Tampa ran 24 times… nice number but as stated 13 of those attempts in the 4th quarter when they had the lead.
The ‘we need to run the ball narrative’ is so dumb and just short sighted. Its lazy and shows how uninformed fans really are.

    1. Packers should have used one of those Running Plays down in the Red Zone to run a Quick Trap up the Middle
In truth that was a horrible sequence of 3 Plays there at the end of the Game, for the Packers,
I thought Rodgers should have ran the ball on that 3rd Down pass attempt as he had open field to his right when he scrambled out the Pocket and could have at least gotten do close to the End Zone making a 4th Down Call more probable, and why their Coach went for the FG was just plain stupid,,
Down by 8 Points inside the 10 Yard Line with 3 Timeouts and the 2 Minute Warning
You have to go for it and if it doesn’t work, then you have a much better chance of stopping them deep in their own zone to get the Ball Back with one last chance, instead of kicking a FG to now trail by 5points but have to kick off where the Bucs get the ball to start a drive at the 25-30 Yard line instead of inside their own 10 Yard line
Another bonehead move by Coach LaFluer was going for 2 Points early in the 3rd Quarter which ended up making their Deficit 8 Points at the end of the game instead of the usual 7 Points.. I don’t care what analytics card tells me, I never got for a 2 Point Play until I have to, but not beforehand as you end up chasing points the remainder of the Game which impacts many things
What was the Plan for LaFluer there at the end of the game with that 1st & Goal Sequence where a TD and 2 Point Conversion are needed to Tie the Game or else your Season is over ..

On HAC’s Observation of not having to Run the Ball to be an effective Offense or a Super Bowl Contender

(2019) The 49ers ran the Ball more than they Passed and were pretty effective at it and really should have beaten the Chiefs
(2018) – Both the Rams and NE Pats were much more Run Oriented First Offensive Teams throughout this Season
(2017) Super Bowl Season of the Eagles – The Eagles were a more balanced Offense and were one of the Top Rushing Teams in the NFL that season
(2016) the SB was a match up to 2 Pass Happy Offenses in Atlanta Falcons/NE Pats similar to this Year’s Match-up of the Chiefs/Bucs
(2015) the SB was a Matchup of 2 Run Oriented Offenses with Strong Defenses as both the Panthers and Broncos were limited Offensively that Season
(2014) The SB was between the Pass-Happy NE Pats versus the Run first Seattle Seahawks Offense
2013 – The SB was the Run Oriented Seahawks over the Pass-Happy Broncos Offense of this Season
2012 – SB was between the Ravens and 49ers who were both more Run Oriented Offenses and who had good Defenses

      1. delve deeper grasshopper you will see that those heavy run teams did it late in games when they had the lead. Remember I’m a run first guy- point is the nfl isn’t necessarily set up that way-
green bay ran the ball the week before 36 times because they were in a solid lead- this week 24 times because they were behind.
the week before tampa ran 36 times– sounds great… 19 of them were in the 4th quarter when they had a lead.
You mention the 17 eagles ‘balance’ — well in the NFC championship game the NUMBERS indicate a nice balance 30 runs/ 3 passes– however they ran 23 times in the second half when they were up24-7 and 31-7— thats NOT BALANCE its the exact opposite!–
pay attention and delve into the numbers– number of attempts is a lazy mans way to interpret running game proficiency. game circumstances–SCORE, DOWN AND DISTANCE are your run game keys— not simply number of attempts— thats a dummy talking

        1. Teams are more likely to Run when the Running Game is actually working and productive regardless of the Score
But it’s hard to get an OL and RB in Rhythm when you don’t run it enough which always helps to keep a Defense and Pass Rush honest which was one of Dougie P’s faults of going too many long stretches of no runs at all..
Play-Action Passes only work when you have a comittment and threat to run, and when you do t then it’s a wasted motion and time for the Offense and actually enhances the QB to get hit or have a busted play
Check out how many times Wentz was sacked when attempting a Play Action Pass where the Defenses were never fooled

          1. paul repeat after me–2020 was a cluster– there were problems up and down– check out how many times they were 1st and 15 or 20… This years numbers were just screwy it was an awful year.

            1. No Excuses for 2020
Many Teams had great Seasons with the same Covid restrictions, Newbie Coaches, Players with new Front Office Personnel and the many challenges
that 2020 Season brought across the NFL and yet, there were 11 Teams that Won 10 or more Games which is about 35 % of the NFL which is pretty good

Poor Execution and Poor Coaching (Arrogance) and Poor Practice Habits lead to Poor Execution and Discipline on the Field which the Eagles Fans saw plenty of this Year and again this was with a Veteran Coaching Crew and Roster for the most part which is just Inexcusable …

I’m glad to read that Duce is moving on as it’s time for him to spread his wings elsewhere as he had apparently run his to his max limit with the Eagles , I’m also glad they are keeping OL Coach Jeff Stoutland who can help the Younger OL on their Roster to keep improving as the Eagles will be transitioning to a much Youngster Team including the OL over the next 2 Seasons

              1. They had a horrible season… no excuse everything that could go wrong did…. you kept saying they needed balance … that’s dumb they were horrible they were behind, they couldn’t play without penalty, they couldn’t stay healthy, bad execution… it’s dumb to say the cure was running

        2. Its pretty obvious to Run the Ball More when having a lead..
It “Shortens the Game” and keeps the Clock Going, Its less risky running the Ball then passing
where the opportunities for Negative Plays are increased, non of this Rocket Science to anyone
The Offensive Teams that are most balanced tend to keep opposing Defenses on their heels and guessing more instead of becoming one-dimensional and therefore predictable …
Coach Doug Pedersen and DC Jim Schwartz became very Predictable in their Formations and Schemes over the last few Years and anyone who follows, watches or Coaches around the NFL know this all too well so the Eagles stifled themselves in a sense…
A Play-Callers Weakness is failing to evolve and the ability to make adjustment to your Opponents adjustments and the Eagles Offense and Defense were just not very good in this area the last couple of Seasons .. 10-8, 9-8 and 4-11-1 (Total Record of 23-27-1) since the Super Bowl Season and remember this was all achieved when playing in one of the worst NFL Divisions of Football the last couple of Years where the Eagles played 18 Games out of their 51 Total Games (35% of all game versus the crappy NFC East Teams)

Dougie P and Schwartz and most others tied to them had to go… Plain and Simple

  11. MLB News..

The Spring-Training Cactus League (Teams that Play in Arizona) are advocated thr MLB to delay the Start of Spring Training which obviously impacts all of Baseball due to Covid-19 which the infectious rate in Maricopa County,Az is very high right now
There are 15 MLB Clubs who are based and play in Arizona during Spring Training and if half of MLB can’t practice then no other Teams they prepare in Florida will be able to either
Already plans by MLB to play a 110-125 Game Schedule for the 2021 Season

  12. Eagles Hire OC Shane Steichen from the Chargers who worked closely with Justin Herbert last Year
Eagles also Hired Passing Coordinator/QB Coach Kevin Patullo

Eagles former RB/Asst HC Duce joins the Detroit Lions Staff with HC Dan Campbell,
    OC Anthony Lynn

Carson Wentz says he still “has issues with the Eagles Organization” and is leaning to pull a DeSaun Watson and force his way out of Philly
Read between the lines as Wentz doesn’t want to play for Howie Roseman, regardless of the HC & Staff Situation
Todays Players are feeling more empowered whether they are coming off great or poor seasons, it’s the world we live in sadly

Stay Tuned as it appears the Eagles HC Sirianna is going to move forward with his plan of the new look Eagles Offense regardless if Wentz remains with the Team!!
    Way to Go Nick !!

    1. He will have no choice but to move forward with his new look offense regardless of Wentz .
The nfl QBs are feeling emboldened. Rogers who has always been a prima Donna voiced serious doubts about the packers and him continuing on…. that’s after two straight 13-3 seasons.
With all the QB chatter I think one of the most interesting situations is actually Dak. As of this moment he has no contract and is due I think $35m if they franchise again. How does Dallas view him? Can they/will they sign him to a deal, franchise him? Or get into bidding for Watson? Rogers?

      1. Dak earned $31.5 Million Las Year being Franchised, If Cowboys were to place the Franchise Tag on him for a 2nd Time, His Salary would jump another 20% making him earn closer to $38 Million for the 2021 Season .
Cowboys also have back-up QB, Andrew Dalton as a Free-Agent and is free to talk to any Team this Free-Agency as it’s desire to compete for a Starters Job, Maybe he’ll the Patriots, Texans, Saints, Colts, etc

Only QB’s that are currently under Contract for the Cowboys in 2021 are Garrett Gilbert and Ben DiNucci

I can see Aaron Rodgers bolting GB for San Francisco or even Las Vegas

        1. Cowboys will attempt to sign him to the richest contract in NFL history one year after a major knee surgery- very risky but its the market- they gambled and lost. All the hand wringing and second guessing w/contracts is kinda silly. The QB position, being the most important position in all of sports is in the drivers seat. The big injury stuff can be devastating to the athletic QBs- look at Wentz, RG3 and many others. it takes its toll.
Rogers is grossly underpaid and is getting ready to make a stink, Watson is fairly paid and getting ready to make a stink and Wentz is paid and getting ready to make a stink.
Reading the ‘flowery reports’ about Sirriano — seems he’s a WR whisperer- gonna strengthen our WR corps- Look for Jeffrey and Deshawn to go. Gonna get REagor to play like a number 1 and JJAW to play like a professional not a damn high school kid

  13. If Prescott is looking for a $40 Million a Year Long-Term Deal, I could see the Cowboys resigning Dalton or maybe pursuing Matt Stafford in a Trade, who has 2 Years left at $22-23 Million per Season which is a bargin for an established Veteran QB

    1. If that happens it is yet another interesting twist in the qb off season- It would be huge for them to move on from him. That is a decision that goes way beyond X’s and O’s and way beyond $. Would be a total game changer for the cowgirls

    2. Paulman, maybe you can contact Gcobb and see if you can write some articles for this website…they barely have any content anymore…I like to come to the comment section and read your comments because that is where all of the information is…not joking…I would read this page more if they wrote more…

  14. Further proof that fans are whiny ass bitches. The fans of the chargers are happy their old OC is gone because HE WAS TOO RUN DEPENDENT. STUBBORNLY STUCK TO THE RUN– YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS UP! So I like to delve into the numbers they ran the ball a whopping 42% of the time while the eagles ran it 40% of the time- our dummy fans are pissed we didn’t run enough, their fans pissed they ran it too much-
Teams run the ball roughly 35-45% of the time- Baltimore is an anomoly at 57%, of course that is the Jackson impact- the two SB teams are at 37% and 39% which with the number of W’s they have you have to include 3-4 kneel downs and some time consuming drives in the 4th.
Anyone who sticks to the old adage ‘run to set up pass’ is a dummy— its kinda like a few years ago when the dummies wanted to dump Kelce for a 6th round pick because he was ‘too small and they couldn’t go 3 yards and a cloud of dust’– dude may be a HOF center, certainly an all-time eagle and the dummies wanted to dump him for nothing because they are stuck in the 1960’s full back, tail back dive plays! HILARIOUS

    1. Where have your gone Norm Bulaich !!!
I think all Fans realize that the NFL is a Passing League and will continue to be so as time moves forward
with having Big Play WR’s and Dual Threat QB’s who can hurt you from the Pocket and out on the perimeter with their legs and athleticism , Teams run so many WR Formations with Multiple TE’s and Backs out of the Backfield rather than having a 3 Down cowtail RB is almost obsolete in today’s game which is why its effective for the Teams that do run the Ball more often like the Browns/Ravens/Titans as NFL Defenses just don’t see this or prepare for going against a Run Heavy Team that often anymore

A great Way to negate a Pass-Rush is to still Run the Ball with quick Traps, Draw plays, jet sweeps, screen plays, etc, etc but it is hard to put a Game away in the 4th Quarter when you haven’t run it much during the first 3 Quarters and where your OL and RB are not in sync/rhythm enough

The Great Offenses mix it up and don’t become predictable which I believe the Doug Pedersen Offense became, similar to what Chip Kelly’s Offense became and what even Andy Reid’s Eagles Offense became during his last couple of Seasons in Philly.. Great Offenses have to take chances, try new Plays and stay ahead of the Curve as Defenses and Trends around the NFL Catch up..

This is also why having a Very Good and Deep Secondary are needed which the Eagles have also been lacking the last few years along with a consistent Pass-Rush which the Eagles have had which has been a cornerstone of their Defense for Years..

Lets see how this New Young Eagles Coaching Staff Approach both sides of the Ball
Sirianna has said that he likes quick routes where the ball is into the Receiver’s hands within 5 Yards so that they can make plays and yards after the Catch ? Maybe Reagor can do this but who else ? Watkins/Fulgham ?
Eagles Receivers will have to Win at the Line of Scrimmage and be strong and explosive enough to make Plays
after short receptions, Reagor/Watkins/Fulgham show potential in achieving this, but I’m not sure about the other WR’s
It will be interesting to see how the Eagles WR Corp Develops as they have a bunch of WR’s under Contract for 2021 Season. (Jeffrey,D-Jax, Grissom, Reagor, Watkins, Hightower, Burnett with both T Fulgham and G Ward pending Free-Agents)

      1. you don’t realize that its a passing league– the eagles are right at average in rushing attempts (actually for a terrible team they are above average)- remember bad teams have fewer opportunities to establish a run game as they are trying to catch up and lengthen the game.
Saw several games where KC ran the ball like 35 times this year. Thought wow, Big Red is establishing the run….nope not at all! in those games he ran like 25 times in the second half after getting the lead. remember once a team establishes a big lead all the coach wants to do is get the hell off the field, run their basic run plays, stay in bounds, avoid injury, avoid showing any trickery, get in the locker room, have a beer and go home!
The philly narrative on doug was in fact fake news!

        1. One Narrative that is Correct about Doug is that he became very predictable with his Schemes and Play Calling the last 2 Seasons which didn’t put his Offense in great positions to be successful ..
His Record speaks for itself since 2018
Below .500 overall playing in the worst Division in Football the last 3 Years
Yards Down, Points Down, 3rd Down and Red-Zone Efficiency all down while Turnovers and Penalties up from their once strong positions in 2017 ..

  15. I believe the Eagles and New Coaches Draft mostly for Defense and Rebuild the Defense while with your Talent
from the Back End to the Front while having Sirianna and his Offensive Asst Coaches learn and figure out what they have offensively with the Current WR, TE and RBs for there is some Talent on this side of the Ball

Ar RB , both Boston Scott/Corey Clement are Free-Agents and the bigger Backs J Howard/Hoyfield probably don’t fit what Sirianna is looking for in terms of Depth at RB Position so expect some new Players come in to compete
at the RB Position..Maybe the Eagles Sign Boston Scott to a new deal, but I don’t see them keep anyone else

  16. Reports around the NFL of how far Carson Wentz has fallen in terms of Building a Franchise around HIm
Eagles are really stuck with him for the next 2 Seasons as the Cap Hit/Dead $$$ is almost too much to bear if they simply Cut/Release HIm, but word around the NFL is that he’s damaged Good with way too much of a Contract to take on … .
With Experienced, Cheaper, Short-Term QB’s that Teams can pursue this Season like Matt Stafford, Jamies Winston, Tyrod Taylor, Andrew Dalton, Cam Newton, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Sam Darnold, Gardner Minshew

Why would a Team Commit to a 28 Years Old starting QB coming off his Worst Season with an Injury history and who is about to Start with a new 4 Year at $128 Million Contract and to make things worse is a PLayer with Baggage with lots of ? marks concerning his Leadership,Practice Habits, Accountability and overall Coachability issues that he presents

If your a Bad Team already then Your Rebuilding with a Young QB who the Teams/Coaches can mold in their likeness which means a Draft Pick or maybe very Young QB like Sam Darnold who needs a Fresh Start

If your a pretty Good Team with an aging QB and with a possible Opening (Colts, Saints, Steelers, Patriots) , then You will want a shorter term, cheaper option at QB who can give you 1-2 Solid Seasons but not commit
to the amount of $$$ and Time that Wentz’s Contract calls for

The Reality is that most in the NFL do not see Wentz as a Franchise QB and with his heavy price tag and contract that the Risk just does not justify the Reward as there are way too many other options out there at QB
whether you want to Pay Top $$ for a more proven QB or you have plenty of options if you are looking for a stop-gap, bridge QB to get you to your Next Franchise QB
They are stuck between a Rock and Hard Place and if Wentz has burned too many bridges here in Philly to return, then the Return for him is going to be nothing, the Eagles may have to include Draft Picks to a Team to take his Contract on similar to what the Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns did in a Trade involving Brock Osweiler a few years ago who had a terrible contract

      1. Many NFL Sources, Reporters are laying low and are not going to steal the thunder of Sirianna’s hiring and first Press Conference, so you wont see reports publicized for a couple weeks

          1. Jeff McClane,John McMullen & Alan Brewer will all eport on this later this week/weekend , Wentz is taking No Calls and Moose Hunting up in Canada
            Until Super Bowl Weekend

  17. New Reports have the Eagles increasingly discussing QB Options with that #6 Pick as Sirianna and Company are looking at all options for 2-3 Years down to road and not putting all their eggs into fixing an unhappy QB in Wentz
who states that he still has issues with the Eagles Organization, Reports have Sirianni stating that he’s not tying his success and Coaching Job on a Player who doesn’t want to be an Eagle and they he rather go out and get his own guy that he can build, mold and trust and this message from the New Coach and Staff is gaining traction with the Front Office, It’s also being relayed that GM Howie is done with Wentz and that it’s really Owner Lurie still clinging to the “Rebuild Wentz Mantra” around Novacare whereas Roseman wants to move forward and start out Fresh with the New Coaches..

  18. Duce Staley, David Fipp and John Dorsey all confirmed and working for the New Look Detroit Lions
who have hired a nice experienced Coaching Staff

Press Taylor reportedly going to work with his Brother and HC Zach Taylor of the Cincinnati Bengals
or may look at the College Ranks to re-boot his Career

Current WR Coach Moorehead and Defensive Secondary Coach M Manuel who both came last Season and are contract are being Interviewed internally by the Eagles Young Coaches to see if they are to remain on the Staff or get replaced.. Word is about 50/50 whether they both remain or move on

Tim Hauck, Current Eagles Safety Coach may interview for the Special Teams Coach to replace Fipp

  19. Reports from Green Bay & LA on a 3 Way Trade

The Packers are Trading Aaron Rodgers to the Los Angeles Rams
The Eagles are Sending Carson Wentz and their 2021 2nd Round Pick to the Packers
The Rams send QB Jared Goff to the EAGLES and their 2021 2nd Round Pick to the Packers
Eagles agree to pay the $10 Million Roster Bonus thats’s due in March of 2021 as Trade will become
Official afterwards but before the Draft

  20. Last Rumor of the Day,

Carson Wentz announces his Retirement from the NFL, He’s committing himself full-time to Mission Work for his Church , The Eagles are off the Hook for his Contract and actively looking to add an experienced QB to the QB room and Tyrod Taylor is being talked to, due to his knowledge/experience of new OC Shane Striechen’s System .. The New Eagles System can fit both Tyrod Taylor and Jalen Hurt’s who have similar skill set

  21. Somebody essentially help to make seriously posts I would state. This is the first time I frequented your web page and thus far? I amazed with the research you made to create this particular publish incredible. Excellent job!

  22. Reports are Rams aren’t 100% happy with Gofff…. these teams are damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Elite QB play is essential for team success, so essential teams sink money in, then the league kinda catches up to the QB and he’s a 100$ million man that is just meh.
Super hi draft picks the last 7 years:
Luck, good but no SB. Quit
    RG3 … one year lightning…injuries
    Winston, back up
    Marriotta , back up
Goff, lead team to SB but meh after
Wentz led team to SB but meh after
    Trubinsky, yuck
Mahones was a #10 pick and obviously major hit
Watson was 11 and wants out
Mayfield has led team to PO but is he a guy that can put team on shoulders
    Allen, looks good
    Rosen, is he still playing?

    1. Seems like No Teams are happy with their Current QB Situations except for Chiefs,Bills,Ravens,Chargers, Bengals
Seahawks,TB Bucs, Tennesee,NY Giants, Browns and that’s about it.

      Patriots,Jets, Dolphins, Eagles,Cowboys,Washington FC, Detroit,Chicago,Minnesota,Indy, Steelers,Carolina,
New Orleans, Falcons,Houston, Jacksonville, Denver,Las Vegas,LA Rams and SF 49ers all have questions, concerns about their QB Situations which a few of these Teams will address with the upcoming Draft Class

Outside of Trevor Lawrence, the next 4-5 QB’s who will go in the 1st/2nd Round (J Fields,Z Wilson, T Lance, Mac Jones, K Trask, K Mond) will all need a year or two to develop) but many said the same thing about Justin Herbert last year and he played very well and exceeded most peoples expectations as a Rookie last Season for the Chargers

I would not be surprised at all if the Eagles Select a QB this Draft for I believe the Carson Wentz Situation may only get worse though the Eagles hands are tied due to his Contract, but if he wants out, then how can you have him back in the building and especially with a new Coaching Staff
Eagles sitting at #6 will probably get some Trade Offers by Teams looking to move up to get a QB if Fields,Wilson,Lance are still on the Board)

The Jets at #2 and the Dolphins at #3 really hold the Key for the Eagles this Draft
If Both Teams or their Draft Spots if they were to Trade out, go to QB’s, this will push the Top Position Players down the Draft Board for the Eagles (OL Sewell, WR’s Chase & Smith, LB Parsons, CB Surtain or Farley could still be on the Baord at #6)

If the Jets and Dolphins are content with their QB Situations or choose not to Trade out and Select Position Players at #2 and #3, then this will push more QB Prospects down the Draft Board creating a lot of Interest in the Eagles #6 Pick…

Falcons at #4 have lots of Needs – QB, CB, Edge Passer being their Biggest needs
Bengals at #5 don’t need a QB and will likely take OL Sewell or one of the Top WR ‘s or maybe CB

      1. Possible Teams looking to move up potentially with the Eagles for the #6th Pick
if some of the Top QB’s Prospects are still are on the Board

        #7 – Detroit Lions
        #8 – Carolina Panthers
        #9 – Denver Broncos
        #12 – SF 49ers
        #15 – NE Patriots
        #19 – Washington FC
        #20 – Chicago Bears
        #21 – Indy Colts
        #28 – NO Saints

  23. Did anyone see/hear the leaked audio tape of “Pedersens/Lurie’s” Final Meeting ?
Pretty Funny .. Its on Youtube ..

  24. 2020 Season Ending Statistics about the Eagles vs the rest of the NFL

Offense – Overall Ranking of 24th in the NFL
Rushing – Ranked 9th with 127 Yards Per Game
Passing – Ranked 26th with 233 Yards Per Game

Defense – Overall Ranking of 19th in the NFL
Rushing Defense – Ranked 23rd giving up 126 Yards Per Game
Passing Defense – Ranked 18th Allowing 258 Yards Per Game

Avg Points Scored Per Game – 21 Points Per Game (Ranked 26th)
Points Allowed Per Game – 26 Points per Game (Ranked 20th)
Turnovers (+ or -) Minus (- 10) Turnovers for the Season ranking 29th in the NFL

The Numbers, Stats and League Rankings speak for themselves for the 2020 Season

    1. Right! Calling for more rushing was stupid on your part… a shitty team ranked 9 in rushing! Wow! That’s incredible actually… totally fucks with ur stupid narrative!
Curious where the penalty stats are… gotta suck

      1. Numbers, Numbers, Numbers, Love how you can dissect them and turn them into almost anything

Take the 3 Long Running Plays made by Sanders totaling approx 225 yards and the Eagles go from
the 9th Ranked Rushing Offense to the 16th Ranked Rushing Offense over the Course of 16 Games
Their Rushing Average goes from 5 Yards Per Carry to 4.5 Average per Carry which is still very good but is skewed by these 3 long Runs and with the Eagles having so many QB Runs this Season

In Fact – QB’s Wentz/Hurts had some 115 Carries between them for approx 620 Yards..
Some were Designed Runs, but many were just scrambles off of broken Plays so when you strip away the QB’s Rushes from the Eagles Offense in 2020 and the 3 Long Runs by Sanders, then the remaining Rushing Attack Rushed for a measly 1165 Yards Total on some 285 Carriers making this a much less effective Rushing Attack for approx 80 Yards a Game and 4 Yards per Carry but this is why its so important to have a Mobile QB who get get positive Yards when Passing Plays Break Down which for the Eagles occurred quite a bit in 2020 due to shaky QB and OL Play

        1. Brees, Winston and Hill had 105 carries– so yes some teams have QB carries– still adds to the carries.
          sorry passive aggressive pussy…
did you take any plays away from anyone else? did you? numbers are numbers– long plays, short plays they all go to the total… its normal- you are not!
          you are a toxic MORON

  25. Positive Eagles News

Eagles Hire former OC of the U of Florida, 33 Year Old, Brian Johnson who will fill the open QB Coach Position
of the Eagles .. Brian Johnson is well-liked and respected and has coached some high-powered Offenses
    in his College Career
Brian Johnson previously was the OC ‘s for the University of Houston & University of Utah and was the first Black Coach to ever reach the Coordinator Level at the U of Florida so Congrats to Him and the Eagles ..

  26. More Reports that Eagles are leaning to Select a QB at #6 if Justin Fields if still on the Board
Fields is a bigger version of Jalen Hurts and goes about 6-3 and 230lbs where as Hurts is 6-1″ 220lbs
Sources state that the Eagles are primed to Trade Carson Wentz, even if they have to give him away

      1. Yes, Jon Hart , Whatever happened to him,
Man, he was always jacked about his 76ers..

Gloomy, DCar, GMCliff, NavyDave, MHenski and a whole lot others , some Funny times
The Gal that used to Post .. ha

Remember the guy from Canada who was an Eagles Fan .. can’t remember his Sign on

  27. Good to see this site coming back

I love the hire of Nick Sirianni. It is a complete unknown of course, however listening to Coach Reich praise Sirianni is very telling.

Coached with him 6 years in SD and Indy. The hire has me very excited for the WR position. JJ Arthega Whiteside is not a bust yet. I know people are writing him off, but I hope we keep him and turn his career around.

Raegor in year 2 should flourish.. He has all the tools in the world.

Makes me wonder if we take a WR like everyone has us doing in there mocks. I feel like Smith is too small, and Chase could be very good…but can he be elite?

I hope the OL Penei Sewell is there for the taking.. Can never get mad at taking another OL with age starting to settle in.

    We need our Quenton Nelson

    1. Good to hear from tou CT and I have some reservations about both WR D Smith and J Waddle from Alabama as these guys are 165-175lbs and yes they’ll get a little bigger and stronger as they mature, but I’m not sure
I’m taking either one at #6
Ja’Mar Chase looks like a beast but opted out last Season so who knows what he’s been doing …
OL Sewell, and the OL from Northwestern, Va Tech and USC all look like 10 Year NFL players

    2. CT? I assumed you were in Prison for trying to overthrow the government! You are one of those insurrectionist assholes…. I’m hoping you share a cell with that asshole Trump

      1. I can see you have not changed at all.

You would have thought that city blocks were being destroyed across 50 states, burning, killing, and destroying business’s…I cannot believe how evil that “insurrection” incident was.

A few broken windows and a privileged white women got shot.

I guess liberals get to choose who lives, and who dies. WHos businesses go on and its okay to kill cops and throw molotovs.

Of course the media treated it like the biggest deal in the world….bc they are owned by leftist.

But yes Donald Trump is going to prison for “inciting violence”. LOL

In other news Joe Biden issued a travel ban, and was not called a “racist” for it…shocker. There is zero bias media though.

        1. So what you are saying is that storming the capital to overthrow an election is good? You are insane!

  28. I’m liking the New Staff so far…
Doubt Matt Burke remains, even though his real position of experience is of a LB Coach which the Eagles need to fill…
I’ve read nothing on the DB/Secondary,WR and Special Teams & TE Coaches as of yet and don’t want to make false reports on anyone..

    1. Meh… dudes work hard. Know more about football than the rest of us… no better, no worse than the last staff.
Detroit has become Philly mid west and they are ecstatic about new coaching
All these dudes work their assed off… give em takent

  29. Eagles hired Colts TE Coach today. And the University of Fl QB Coach.

Having Gannon, and Sirianni as the OC and DC will basically be the CB and WR coaches considering that is there speciality. I am sure they will hire someone soon to fill those roles soon.

    I am loving the staff.

I hope Burke stays.. Eagles had low key the 3rd most sacks in the league this season.

  30. I love whats going on in Detroit..

John Dorsey, Duce Staley, David Fipp all joining Dan Cambell. I hope Det is patient with this staff and allows the rebuild to take time.

Always had a soft spot for Detroit. Have never won anything, you cant help but feel bad for them and there fans..

Especially after far leftist policies destroyed there city the last 40-50 years smh

  31. and the Eagles have become the Philly Colts, poor Frank Reich, who has seen his Staff Purged ..
Rumors are that the Colts will heavily pursue QB Matt Stafford, knocking a Team out who potentially would pursue Wentz

Keep an eye out on the Denver Broncos for pursuing Wentz as the process Plays out

Texans hire former Eagles/Chiefs/Ravens WR Coach Dave Cullen who is an excellent Coach
and long time Coach under Andy Reid
though most Fans and the Media will not be excited about this Selection..
If the Texans move on or forced to trade D Watson, they could also be in Play for Wentz
and or even local boy, Jalen Hurts, which may require the Eagles to select a QB at #6 this Draft to start developing behind Wentz if they find no Teams interested in Wentz as they are likely stuck with him in 2021
I really can’t see a scenario where both Wentz and Hurts are on the Eagles Roster for 2021
maybe the Eagles can get a late 1st Round or more likely a high 2nd Round Pick for Hurts, then salvage Wentz in 2021 with the hopes of moving him after a decent Season, obviously if Wentz bounces back with a good 2021 season then you keep him for 2022 while developing the #6 Pick QB Selection
If Wentz continues to play poorly in 2021, then you definitely move on from him and turn the reins over to your #6 QB Selection for the future

On a side Note, The QB Class for 2022 looks very good with lots of potential if the Eagles went into a full re-build mode for 2021 where they turnover their Roster this off-season of Veterans for Future Draft Capital

  32. There are only 10-12 QBs cemented in their spots a few more who will probably eat back. I don’t see Wentz being an option for any teams. He’s expensive and coming off a horrible season, has had some serious injuries…. I just don’t see turning your team over to him.
If I’m Houston I trade Watson for picks and bring in a mid level veteran… Dalton or something. Maybe dump Watt and go all in on the rebuild.
Major questions in Dallas…. does Dak sign a franchise tag? That could get ugly…. no damn plan, out of touch hiring McCarthey and Nolan (fired). Aging roster etc. dark horse prediction Dak ends up with the WFT

  33. I’m hearing the Eagles are doing a lot of work, background, research on QB Justin Fields with that #6th Pick

  34. GM Howie Roseman offers the #6th Overall Pick, 3rd 2021 Round Pick QB Jalen Hurts , TE Zach Ertz, WR D-Jax and RT Lane Johnson plus the Eagles 2022 1st Round Pick to the Texans for QB Deshaun Watson
New Texans GM Nick Casserio likes the Deal but needs DeShaun Watson to waive his No-Trade Clause which did not included Philadelphia as a Team on his Wish List which has listed only the NY Jets, Miami Dolphins and Carolina Panthers for Teams to be traded too ..
    More Details at 6pm

    1. To Clarify Roseman’s Offer

Eagles offer this years 1st Round Pick (#6th overall) 3rd round Pick (#70th Overall)
their 2022 1st Round Pick plus Players , J Hurts, Z Ertz, D-Jax and RT LJ
A Whole new Team in 2021

Now Roseman is working on other Trades for Wentz and F Cox to return some Draft Capital back
and get their Salary Cap in shape

  35. Roseman’s Trades Continue

Eagles Send QB Carson Wentz and WR JJAW to the Broncos for a 3rd Round Pick in 2021 and a 5th Round Pick in 2022

Eagles Trade DT F Cox to the Altanta Falcons for a 3rd Round Pick in 2021

  36. After the Dust Settles – Eagles have the Following Draft Picks in the Early Rounds
after Acquiring QB DeShaun Watson and clearing up Cap Space

    Round #2 – 40th Overall – CB Jaycee Horn – South Carolina (6-1 203lbs)
    Round #3 – 68th (from Atlanta) – WR Terrance Marshall – LSU (6-3 205lbs)
    Round #3 – 73rd (from Denver) – Safety Andre Cisco – Syracuse (6-0 209lbs)

    1. Confirmed from Sources close to DeShaun Watson’s Management Team
The Above Trades are all for Naught as DeShaun Watson does not want to Play for the Philadelphia Eagles and will not waive his “No Trade Clause” for Philadelphia , All Trades are off and back to Square 1 for Howie again ..

  37. Eagles new QB coach is a lifelong friend of the Hurts family. Jalens dad coached this guy. He’s known Jalen since he was 4. Wentz is sitting in a tree stand right now, reading all this and saying… shit I’m gonna be traded to Houston or some such he’ll hole!
Eagles going very young with the staff… this “retool” is going to be very interesting. NFL things can turn around super quick, outhouse to the penthouse and vice versa. Nice article today about that TE from Florida being a generational type of TE… highlights look incredible

    1. I’d love the Eagles to select TE Kyle Pitts Pick at #6 , Trade Ertz for a 3rd or likely a 4th Rd Pick and then Select Pitts, who can play all over the formation from the end of the line, from the Backfield, Slot, even out Wide…
He’s from the Philly area I believe

  38. From the Bismarck Times

Carson Wentz reportedly is going to Retire
from the NFL as His Wife and Family are very upset how this whole Franchise QB and NFL thing is working out and He’s especially unhappy in Philly and being made out as a scapegoat by the Organizations Failures

He’s out and moving back to North Dakota

    1. The Bismarck Times is terribly out of touch as it’s obvious that Doug was made the scape goat!
Carson likes the lifestyle 100$ M can bring… exotic hunting trips, tricked out pick up trucks etc… he ain’t retiring….

  39. Texans HC Dave Culley reportedly is Hiring
Josh McCown as OC or QB Coach, Lovie Smith as DC and don’t be surprised if HC reaches out for Doug Pedersen who has a strong relationship with Culley as the Play-Caller
I know Doug would rather sit home and fish and have Jeffrey Lurie Pay him almost $6 million but he may want to help old friend Dave Culley out as a Coach/Play-Caller

  40. Coach Sirianna’s Introductory Press Conference Today ..
Wonder How many Questions will he get about Wentz ? Over/Under in Vegas is 9 Questions …
I saw his little interview with Dave Spordaro last evening and sounds like an intelligent, motivated Coach
who is putting together a younger, motivated, energetic Staff which is good to see ..
He kinda of looks like the Golfer Dustin Johnson ..

I’m not as worried about Winning over the Locker Room as others have suggested as many of these Eagles Veteran Players will likely not even be Eagles by the 2022 Season and the Young Players I believe will like his Energy and Opportunity to Learn, Grow as Players and Contribute with an opportunity to Play which was harder to do under the the Doug P Area unless there was Injuries as Doug liked to play his Veterans hell or high water

  41. press conferences are useless– I get it– never tip your hand in such a competitive business so why bother even speaking. listening to radio, vitriol over lack of concrete answers etc- I’m not sure why a fan would think in a million years the guy would say anything other than non-answers—?? it takes a real dummy to think he’s going to say: “Carson will be traded”, “Carson is the starter”, or any specifics— I actually wish he was MORE VAGUE!- give me Belichik and just a gruff ‘we will prepare for game 1 as best we can’ type of answer-
If there is any thing that can be read on this is I don’t believe Carson can be happy with this conference UNLESS he was already assured a starting job and told to not pay attention to the non-answer stuff.

    1. His Comments were exactly what he said the Day Before with Dave “Softball” Spadaro Interviewed which was a
practice run for what he said Today
I give him a C+ overall for his Introductory Press Conference and expect he’ll be fine as there isn’t really much to say right now about the Tetam as he’s just gotten Hired and needs to get his Staff and Player Evaluations and some Schemes put together
It would have been nice for him to speak a little more in depth about his Background, His Upbringing and Passions about Football and his biggest Influences and about the Staff He has Hired and what he envisions his Team to look like moving forward and maybe even a little bit about his Family, which maybe I missed

Should be an Exciting Year for the Eagles with a lot of new faces and energy and hopefully good football ideas and schemes

    2. Carson’s Done in Philly, and will have to move on if he wants to continue his Career..
Eagles are stuck with his Career unless his Agent/Team of advisors decide to re-structure as to make him easier to Trade for
I believe that Howie/Wentz Agent/Team are doing this right now behind the scenes as thry
Will have to move quickly (by Mid/late March) to get this accomplished for both parties to move on before the Free-Agency & Draft which will change the QB landscape around the NFL which doesn’t benefit the Eagles or Wentz
Time is of the essence and the Restructure will likely never be announced to the Public until after a Trade is consummated where as the New Team will announce the new contract restructure as this is the only way the Eagles will get some type of Compensation back and this also allows Wentz and his new Team to tell their fans that Wentz is a Team Player and has worked out a new Deal with his New Team to shows he’s committed to playing for a Winner and will do what it takes financially to make it happen

  42. The Coach Sirianna Presser was a pretty much the same things he said with the Spordaro Interview last evening
but I guess this is to be expected .. Keep Getting this Coaching Staff Completed and Move Forward with the Roster Evaluations and Howie Roseman and his Group need to Shed about $100 from this Current Roster if they want to partake in Free-Agency at all this Year and/or to Extend any Core Players for the future, so they need to start making the difficult Decision’s very soon and start moving Forward as a Team..

Currently 67 Players Under Contract for 2021 who will be subject to Cut/Trade/Release or Restructure
in Order for the Eagles to reduce their Salary Cap by their Projected amount of $80 Million
    (D-Jax, A Jeffrey, M Goodwin, Z Ertz, D Barnett, M Jackson, J Kelce, R Mcleod will likely all be gone )

Players like B Brooks, Lane Johnson, F Cox & D Slay may all have to look at some new Restructured Deals to free up Cap Space in 2021

Current Eagles Free Agents who are likely not to Return or be Offered Contracts so their Salaries from last Season are not factored in the 2021 Salary Cap, as they technically are not under Contract so the Resigning of any of these Players would only Add to the Salary Cap Deficit

    J Mills, N Robey-Coleman, N Gerry, V Curry, C LeBlanc , D Riley, J Peters, C Clement, B Scott, J Perkins ,
    N Sudfeld,

Current Free-Agents who are likely to be Re-Signed by the Eagles once they open up Cap Space
LB A Singleton, WR Greg Ward, Punter Cam Johnston, TE R Rodgers , maybe a DT H Ridgeway or TY McGill ?

  43. Reports state that Duce Staley was seen dropping off Carson Wentz at the Detroit Airport and that Staley alluded that Wentz was heading to Denver,Co with a Bronco’s Cap on, as the Carson Wentz
“In Search of a Team Who Wants Me Tour” Continues …

  44. Yo strappers. U 2 idiots too dumb to realize the Eagles r trash and flyers and sixers where it’s at. Buy a got damn clue ya idiots

    1. The title of the blog: Eat. Sleep. Breath….Eagles.
Sixers doing great flyers great… still early. Lots of time for them. Eagles dominate the sport interest in this town….

  45. Rams Trade QB Jared Goff and this years 3rd Round pick along with the Rams 1st Round Picks in 2022 and 2023 to the Detroit Lions for
    QB Matthew Stafford ..
Talk about getting rid of Goff in a hurry ,
Rams Front Office and Coach McVay acted quickly and decisively with the Lions to get this done, do not the Lions New GM , was recently Hired from the Rams Front Office
Good Move by both Clubs as the Lions get Draft Capitol then couple of Drafts while getting an experienced QB in Goff while the Rams get an upgrade in QB Stafford with a Playoff ready Team for the short-term
I don’t know know if the Rams are going to pay any of Goff’s overpaid Contract which was higher than Wentz’s and I believe has a similar structure …
    Crazy Times in the NFL
The Colts,Washington and Carolina are all going to be aggressive here out of the Gate trying to improve their QB Situation so the Eagles need to act soon if they want to move away from Wentz which I believe is the direction they want to go in

    1. I may also add that this quick Trade between the Rams and Lions and the compensation involved may actually help the Eagles with any negotiations they may have with other Clubs concerning Wentz though they can expect to take a big short term hit on their Cap Situation
Could the Eagles actually be in play for DeShaun Watson?
and Send Wentz, Ertz and 2 1st Round Picks (in the 2022 & 2023 Drafts) with a 2nd and 3rd Round Picks this Year?

      1. I wonder if the eagles want to be involved in a Watson trade? I’m thinking they may want to dump Wentz and get draft capital. Of course this depends on if they see gold in hurts?

        1. I’m sure the Rams are thinking those 2 Future First Rounders are Picks in the
Mid 20’s Range so they are rolling the dice but must feel that Goff is not the QB that’s going to win Championships for them so cut the Chord now and move forward.
It’s much more difficult for the new Eagles Coaching Staff to determine where they are at QB wise as they were just hired so a real crap shoot..
But Rams McVay knew Goff wasn’t the Guy as Goff didn’t even Start their Playoff Game though he was suited and then came in after the backup who started got hurt..

        2. I think the Eagles are moving on from Wentz regardless if they believe if Hurts is the guy, they hold the #6th Pick in the Draft and could move Wentz for Future Draft Capital and get out from under his contract and then Select a QB with the 6th Pick to sit a year under Hurts
and if Hurts does show that he’s the guy then they have 2 Young QB’s under Rookie Deals with future potential Trade Assets down the road which is not a bad strategy
2021 will likely be a long Season with new Coaches, Schemes and many young Players but if they can move a few veterans for Draft Picks in 2021/2022 they can position themselves in good shape for the Future but 2021 will be ugly and
          probably another 4-5 Win Season

          1. I understand you prefer a toxic narrative. It’s your nature. After all you are the guy that somehow has a negative take of a SB season, a WS victory and a perfect game.
However, the eagles assuming good health will be able to have a very very good OL, DL. Changing “system” is a stupid take. The offense will have similar schemes, blocking assignments, route trees etc… if they can somehow stay healthy, fix the QB position they can compete for the division without question

            1. It’s Called Reality
This Eagles Current Roster is not a competitive one unless you consider a 23-27-1 Overall Record the last 3 Seasons a Success
If going 9-7 in 2018 & 2019 In the garbage NFC East Division is success to you, then more power to you … This Team has been dying in the vine for the last 3 Seasons with Carson Wentz at the helm
They rolled the dice during this 2-3 Year Window following their SB Run of 2017, with the Hopes that Wentz could elevate his Game to an elite level but this hasn’t happened, in fact Wentz has regressed to one of the bottom Starting NFL QB’s in the League and now the window has now closed with this Core veteran group of Players and its time to turn the page not only with the Coaching Staff, which they have done, but also with much of their Roster of aging, expensive Players who’s best playing days are well behind most of them
I would take the big hit for 2021 and move all Players over 30 Years old except for CB Darius Slay as the Eagles are short enough on Talent in their Secondary and sone future young Players can
              Learn a bit from him, but I would say Bye-Bye to Ertz, Cox, Lane Johnson, M Jackson, A Jeffrey, D-Jax, M Goodwin. R McLeod, B Graham, B Brooks, N Robey-Coleman, J Mills, J Kelce, C Clement, D Riley, N Gerry, Howard..
The Eagles have to eat major dead cap $$$ for 2021 and even 2022 but then they could build a roster with younger, cheaper Players and acquire some Draft Capital by trading some of the above Players, though many of them don’t have a lot of Trade Value due to coming off injuries or age, but heck, let me get an extra 3-4 Draft Picks for the 2021/2022 Drafts while cleaning up this bad Cap Hell that Howie has put this Franchise in as Players such as Ertz, Cox, LJ and B Brooks could all return 3rd/4th or 5th Rounders

              1. Once again, you are the guy that finds negatives in championship seasons. Downplays all time great performances. You are just a miserable asshole. If the eagles have a very good OL,next year they will compete,,, anyone who has half a brain (that rules you out) knows that.
This is the nfl… the difference between 10-6 and 6-10 is very small… minute .
Kinda like the difference between winning a championship and some fucking dummy on the internet saying it wasn’t legit because of some drunken made up reasons

  46. My brother suggested I might like this blog. He was totally right. This post actually made my day. You cann’t imagine just how much time I had spent for this info! Thanks!

  47. One other thing is that an online business administration diploma is designed for college students to be able to effortlessly proceed to bachelor’s degree education. The Ninety credit education meets the other bachelor college degree requirements so when you earn your own associate of arts in BA online, you should have access to the most recent technologies within this field. Several reasons why students have to get their associate degree in business is because they are interested in the field and want to obtain the general instruction necessary in advance of jumping in a bachelor diploma program. Thanks alot : ) for the tips you really provide within your blog.

  48. Our fans are a joke..We are EASILY the most manipulated fanbase in the league. Everybody killing our new coach for him stuttering, & being nervous during his first ever headcoach conference.

Shannon Sharpe, the joke wannabe political activist that he is makes everything about race. The Eagles got denied Eric B, coach Reid is probably pissed off about how Lurie and the little weasel Howie treated our championship headcoach. Is Lurie becoming more and more like Jerry Jones?

We are going to miss Doug Pederson like crazy. and we probably will end up paying for it. Karma is a bitch.

I am not hating on Coach Sirianni either. I hope he does well. I like him. Young, energetic, players seem to love him. Xavier Rhodes and Colts anyway.

But he is an unknown. He is very young..and not everybody is going to be Sean McVay.

Doug loved his players, and they loved him. They played for him no matter what. He played with Shula. Marino, Holmgren, Favre, Reid, McNabb and many more. He was a QB.

Carson gets benched, Jalen comes in and plays decent. Did he light the league on fire? No. But he beat the Saints, and almost beat Arizona. Its not a coincidence anymore. Doug was not the problem. Carson was.

Hope I am wrong. But Carson is a old 28. Not as mobile, not accurate. Has hella injuries. Stubborn and wont change.

Lets hope Philly finds a way to get rid of him. Start Jalen, and Bring back Foles to be the backup

  49. Trade Alert,
Eagles Trade Carson Wentz & their 2nd Round Pick (#To 37th Overall) to the Indy Colts for their 1st Round Pick (#21st Overall)..
Eagles agree to pay Wentz’s $10 Million Roster Bonus that’s due on the 3rd Day of New NFL Calendar Year (Mid March)

Eagles end up with the #6th and #21st Picks in this Years Draft and the Colts get their QB that Coach Frank Reich wants
The Eagles had to give up their 2nd Round Pick and pay this Years Roster Bonus but all in all is the best deal they are going to get

    At the Draft
#6 Pick – The Eagles Trade Down with the Broncos at #9 and gain their 2nd Round Pick for doing so (#41 Overall)

    Eagles Select the Following
    #9th – CB Caleb Farley – Va Tech (6-2 205lbs)
    #21st – LB Zaven Collins – Tulsa (6-4 260lbs)
    #41st – QB Kyle Trask – Florida (6-5 240lbs)

    1. I do disagree with you Paul about Philly being a 4-5 win team in 2021.

Lane & Brooks coming back is a game changer. They are both 30-31 & have easily 2-3 elite years at minimum

Kelce doesn’t want to go out that way, the development of Jack Driscoll, Jordan Mailata, & Andre Dillard is very interesting to me as well. Andre is an unknown but when he did play he played decent contrary to popular belief.

OL should be night & day. You have Dallas Goedert, Jalen Raegor year 2, Boobies Miles, Arthega Whiteside in year 3 (who I think under Sirianni will improve). Travis Fulgam..

Do we bring back DeSean on a pay cut?

He deserves to play his final days in Philly… even tho he’s a anti Semitic pos

Defense won’t be elite I don’t think, but won’t be worst in the league.

Eagles could be back in it with a damn good draft. Comes down to Howie and this offseason.

      1. The other reality CT is the Covid Virus is still going to make an impact with the OTA’s and possibly early Camp and Pre-Season as well
It’s going to take a good 6-9 months for the Country to get 75-80% Vaccinated and to see the positive effects take hold so trying to implement new schemes with many new Players is going to be a huge challenge for any New Staff as many of these daily routines by a Team will be handled thru zoom..
I expect the3 other Teams in the NFC East all to improve with Washington FC as an early favorite if they get a quality QB
The Cowboys will get 2-3 Starting quality OL back along with Prescott so they will score points
The Giants will continue to improve and the Eagles will have a challenging 2021 Schedule, If No or Limited Fans at the Linc early on as I expect (Sept/Oct) it will be a difficult Season
This Season is about 2022/2023 in Terms of getting Younger and cheaper and finding out who the future QB will be

        1. You are over stating the impact of Covid- Just like last year you over stated the eagles stability going into a Covid season- The WFT won the division with a new staff and no preseason- You point out that the cowboys will be getting back a couple of starting OL but you of course don’t point out that the eagles will be getting back 3 starting OL- 2 of whom have been all-pro- Of course that doesn’t fit with your toxic narrative– shocker. retooling in the nfl doesn’t have to be a dreadful season- they have a chance to make the playoffs- certainly not the favorite but it comes down to execution and health.

            1. My prediction: In September they start playing games. 47 men will dress each game, play hard and compete. They will win some and lose some and if the pointy ball takes a good bounce they may win enough to make the playoffs.
You are a defeatist and from your perspective they shouldn’t bother showing up. You forget or don’t understand that a good OL can overcome warts.
As I clearly stated last september the 20 season was a dumpster fire. There were things that we will never know that were wrong with that team. Obviously they determined it was Doug and eradicated the problem. The key will be to see if thats what it was or if it goes much deeper– we will have that answer fairly early on.

  50. Who’s the QB ?
Problems go a lot deeper that Doug Pedersen

The Eagles in my opinion had the worst roll out of a New Coach this Coaching Cycle and though Initial PresS Conferences don’t mean a whole lot in the big scheme of things, you do want to make the best impression as possible and that presser by Lurie and Coach Sirianna left a lot to be desired as Lurie rambled on for 16-17 minutes ?? And Sirianna appeared rushed, not confident and a little unprepared on some things, which is even more perplexing on the fact that they waited 9 Days before introducing him which did the Coach Coach no favors at all with the Local Media
Just a Terrible Job by the Eagles Organization with the entire optics of this “Big Day” for the Coach and was a real lost opportunity to turn the stench of how things ended with Coach Pedersen and to turn a new page with a message of hope for the Future ..
I kind of feel bad for Coach Sirianna and this
was just a very unusual Hiring Cycle by Jeff Lurie this time and I think he’s going ding-bat crazy since the Super Bowl

    1. non issue.
He was awkward with a zoom press conference– meh- means zero-
who cares if Lurie spoke for 15 minutes? why would that concern you?
They were also awkward in putting doug out the first time- doug isn’t a polished speaker– like I said earlier, I’d prefer a Belichek press conference- “hey we need to get our guys in here and start prepping for week one”– Ok, coach who is your QB– “well we have 2 guys that we are excited about and we will evaluate them as we go”— boom.
Terrible optics? um I know that its mid afternoon and your just starting to get your drunk on but FYI the eagles are the talk of the town! The sixers and Flyers are having a great year- The Phils have been players in the FA market BUT THE EAGLES ARE THE TALK OF THE TOWN– optics? that has to be a joke of some sort? I guess its just you saying dumb stuff –optics? really? Who is looking?

  72. Thanks for the strategies you reveal through this website. In addition, many young women which become pregnant will not even make an effort to get health care insurance because they worry they might not qualify. Although some states right now require that insurers give coverage in spite of the pre-existing conditions. Charges on all these guaranteed plans are usually greater, but when considering the high cost of medical treatment it may be some sort of a safer way to go to protect the financial future.

It really is commonly seen among personnel in the structure industry with long contact with asbestos. It could be caused by residing in asbestos insulated buildings for a long period of time, Genetics plays a crucial role, and some individuals are more vulnerable for the risk as compared with others.

  84. One thing I want to say is that often before acquiring more computer memory, take a look at the machine within which it could well be installed. In the event the machine is actually running Windows XP, for instance, the particular memory limit is 3.25GB. The installation of over this would just constitute a new waste. Make sure that one’s motherboard can handle an upgrade amount, as well. Interesting blog post.

  85. Hello There. I discovered your weblog the use of msn. That is an extremely well written article. I will make sure to bookmark it and return to read extra of your helpful info. Thanks for the post. I抣l certainly return.

  86. I have really learned newer and more effective things via your blog. One other thing I would like to say is the fact that newer computer operating systems are likely to allow more memory to use, but they additionally demand more memory simply to operate. If your computer could not handle additional memory as well as the newest application requires that storage increase, it may be the time to buy a new Laptop. Thanks

  87. Hello! I know this is kinda off topic however I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest authoring a blog article or vice-versa? 88. Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your article seem to be running off the screen in Safari. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The design look great though! Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Kudos

  89. A few things i have seen in terms of pc memory is that often there are specifications such as SDRAM, DDR etc, that must match the features of the mother board. If the pc’s motherboard is rather current while there are no os issues, updating the storage space literally normally takes under sixty minutes.
