BREAKING NEWS: The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to trade QB Carson Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts for a 2021 Third round pick and a 2022 conditional second round pick that can become a first round pick per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Per Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the second round pick becomes a first round pick if Wentz plays 75% of the snaps or 70% of the snaps and the Colts make the playoffs.
The long awaited trade has finally been completed and the Eagles will now be moving on from the Wentz era. Reports are Wentz only wanted to play in Indy for his old offensive coordinator Frank Reich and the Colts were rigid on their offers for the QB.
The Eagles now have 4 picks in the first three rounds in the NFL draft.
