Executing In The Red Zone Will Be The Key

This is a Podcast. The Eagles should be able to move the ball against the Falcons defense, but they need to be effective in the red zone, if they’re going to leave Atlanta with a victory. The defense will need to keep Matt Ryan and his weapons out of the end zone when they move the ball down there. I get into all that on the Podcast.

  1. Mailata signs 4 year contract… the end of Dillard. Before we declare howie a horrible drafter remember he drafted Mailata … 10 of 11 offensive starters are draft picks. Taking it further the offensive unit, depending on package has about 15 starters and 14 of them are picks

  2. Go Eagles and glad they signed LT Mailata as I expected and called for before TE Goedart which they can wait until after the Season to do this .. LT are harder to find and develop than TE’s who are all over the NFL and in the Draft
I expect DE Josh Sweat to be extended next as Howie will focus on the premier Positions first as he should

  3. Both lines , defense and offense must dominate , I’d anticipate with a lot of strength and focus on more balance with a run game that sets up the passing game. I’m going to be watching the linebackers in the first game (s).
