Denny Basens

Denny Basens is graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing.

A South Jersey native, Denny has been a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan, following all four major sports teams closely his entire life.

He has been to nearly every Eagles home game since the 1999 season, including the three NFC Championship games.

His dream is to turn his passion into a profession, and hopes to one day become a respected opinion in the Philadelphia sports media.

Denny’s writing about the Eagles has led him to several guest appearances on award winning broadcaster Joe Bisicchia’s radio show on WIBG in Ocean City, New Jersey, where he discussed the NFL Draft, and Eagles Training Camp.

Denny joined GCobb.com as an intern in 2010, and became the editor of the website in May 2012. He joins GCobb regularly to discuss Philadelphia sports on 94 WIP.
