Hopefully, an NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement is made before March 5, 2010. Not just for the players, but the owners and fans also. The sooner a CBA is in place, the sooner the threat of a lockout goes away.
While the Eagles current philosophy is to build through the draft, that doesn't mean that veteran free agents can't come and make a positive impact on the team.
I've stated in a previous article that I believe this off-season Donovan McNabb should be traded. Some people agree with it. Some don't.
The biggest agenda for the NFL this off season will be the outcome of labor talks between the NFL Players Association and team owners.
I've defended the man for years. I even had an argument with my wife last year because I thought he should stay in Southeast Pennsylvania until his retirement.
The majority of the Philadelphia Eagles off-season talk among fans and media will probably focus on what will happen with Donovan McNabb.
At first there were four players I felt the Eagles couldn't afford to
send packing, but now with defensive end Jason Babin getting a new contract with the team. I've reduced it to three.
While I don’t condone dog fighting or any act of cruelty(human or animal), I also don’t support permanent punishment of individuals who have made mistakes.
As training camp comes to a close, the Philadelphia Eagles probably have just as many questions as when camp started if not more.
Outside of the OTAs, Donovan McNabb's raise, and Sheldon Brown's unhappiness, there hasn't been too much to talk about this Eagles offseason.McNabb Proclaims It A Must Win
