NFL Releases Statement On DEFLATEGATE

The National Football League just released the following statement regarding DEFLATEGATE.  They have also hired attorney Ted Wells, who investigated the “Bullying” problem, which developed on the Miami Dolphins a year ago.
Check out their statement:
“Our office has been conducting an investigation as to whether the footballs used in last Sunday’s AFC Championship Game complied with […]

The NFC and AFC Championship Games

I hope the today’s games will be good ones, but I don’t see the Packers hanging close to the Seahawks.  I would have loved to have seen a totally healthy Aaron Rodgers against the Seahawks defense.  He might have been able to take his game to such a high level that he might have been […]

The NFL Finally Did The Right Thing To Ray Rice

For over 20 years, I have been a volunteer assistant to the Chaplain at the Youth Study Center in Philadelphia, which incarcerates youngsters who have gotten in trouble with the law and are awaiting their trial.  Every other week, I would go to the center and take a four-minute highlight reel CD of my NFL […]

Denver vs. Seattle Super Bowl Preview

As the game approaches and the forecast becomes easier to pinpoint you will begin to hear about Manning’s poor record in the cold.  Let all of the so called handicappers use that as a reason they chose a particular side. If anyone thinks the weather will be a DIRECT reason Denver wins or looses you […]

Richie Incognito And Jonathan Martin: Which One Of Them Is The Victim?

Everybody and their brothers are giving their opinion about what’s been going on in Miami between Dolphins offensive linemen Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin.  I figured I would weigh in with how I saw it.
I have experienced hazing and taken part in hazing rookie players during my time as a high school football player, college […]

Colin Kaepernick Will Have To Beat The Ravens With His Arm

As for this Sunday’s Super Bowl, I’m awed by the talent on the San Francisco 49ers roster on both the offensive side and the defensive side.   They are clearly the most talented football team in the NFL.  You’ve got to give their front office a lot of credit for amassing so much talent.
Still having […]

Chip Kelly Could Use A Young Quarterback Like Colin Kaepernick

I know Eagles new head coach Chip Kelly had to be sitting somewhere staring at 49ers young quarterback Colin Kaepernick imagining him on the Eagles roster.  I’m sure Kelly would love to have that young man running his uptempo, read option offense for the Eagles in the upcoming year.   Unfortunately, the young man isn’t likely […]

Busy Day In The NFL

It’s been a very busy day in the NFL as the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons get ready for the AFC and NFC Championship games.
The “almost Eagles head coach” Gus Bradley was introduced to city of Jacksonville today and this guy is very impressive.  He’s definitely charismatic.  Bradley was […]

NFL Projections: The AFC West

The AFC West promises to be one of the most tightly contested division races in the league this year. No one team of this group is head and shoulders above the rest of the pack, and each squad has both their share of questions and reasons for optimism. The Broncos have ditched the smoke-and-mirror act […]

Junior Seau Suicide Is Another Tragic Event For NFL

I was saddened to hear that former NFL linebacker Junior Seau died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  He was found by his girlfriend in their Oceanside, California home with a wound to his chest area.
This was especially close to home for me, being he was a former USC linebacker.
This was a shock to every close […]
