Let’s start at the beginning with Fletcher [...]

The Eagles didn’t surprise anybody by drafting defense with their first three picks in the first and second rounds. However, some may have been surprised by the drafting of a quarterback in the third round and the Eagles rounding out the draft with four straight offensive picks.
The Eagles drafted a 6’5” quarterback from Arizona with [...]

The Eagles selected Cal linebacker Mychal Kendricks with their 46th pick in this year’s draft, which was a second round pick. Kendricks was the Defensive Player of the Year in the Pac-12 and will be battling for a starting linebacker job on this year’s Eagles squad.
Kendricks has tremendous speed for a linebacker and he’s an [...]

I just left the Nova Care Complex after meeting Fletcher Cox and unlike previous Eagles defensive line draft picks, Cox is a big guy. He’s not undersized like Michael Patterson, Jerome McDougle and Brandon Graham.
Cox looks like he’s a little over 6’4″ with long arms and legs. He’s currently weighing in at about 305, but [...]

The Eagles were very fortunate last night with Fletcher Cox falling to the 11th position in the first round and they did a nice job of moving up to get him. I went into the draft believing there was no way they were going to be able to move up and get him.
The Eagles knew [...]

The Eagles insist that they are going to draft the best player on their board. You’ve read and heard from Eagles GM Howie Roseman that they’re going to ignore their needs and get the best guy available.
Remember that this is a copy cat league and right now the Birds are copying the Giants. Think back [...]

I got the feeling while sitting in the Eagles Executive dining room last Thursday listening to Eagles GM Howie Roseman that he’s spent a lot of times thinking about how their arch rivals up the New Jersey turnpike, the New York Giants have captured two Super Bowl Championships in recent years.
Reese’s formula for building a [...]
