Philadelphia Eagles Inside Slant
It remains to be seen whether cornerback Lito Sheppard still will be with the Eagles when they open the season in September. But if he is, that will be just fine and dandy with defensive coordinator Jim Johnson.
While many remain skeptical that Sheppard and fellow cornerbacks Asante Samuel and Sheldon Brown can co-exist in the same defensive backfield, Johnson isn't one of them.
"I look forward to it every day," he said. "It's like having two Big Browns in the Kentucky Derby.

Eagles coach's son admits smuggling drugs into jail
Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid's son was sent to state prison after admitting he smuggled 89 prescription pills into a county jail.
Garrett Reid pleaded guilty to drug smuggling charges on Wednesday and faces a minimum of two years in state prison.
The 25-year-old Reid, however, could be released earlier to a less restrictive facility if he is accepted into a drug-treatment program, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said.

Reid's son admits smuggling drugs into jail
A son of Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid is heading to state prison after admitting he smuggled narcotics into his Montgomery County Jail cell.
Garrett Reid pleaded guilty to drug smuggling charges on Wednesday. The 25-year-old faces a minimum of two years in state prison.
Jail officials say they found 89 pills in his cell. Reid is serving time in the county jail for a heroin-fueled car crash that injured a motorist.
