Goodell Meeting With Michael Vick Today

Roger Goodell The Los Angeles Times has reported that Michael Vick will meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell today.  The Eagles stayed in North Jersey last night so chances are the meeting is taking place at the NFL main office in Manhattan.

 I have to side with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in suspending Donte Stallworth for the season.  Afterall he did kill a man.  I think the punishment fits the crime.

NFL Draft Expanding To Three Days

 With the popularity of the NFL draft growing immensely the league has decided to expand the college player selection event from two days to three days.  It will start Thursday night, continue on Friday and finish up on Saturday.

Legal Gambling On NFL In Delaware

 The coach will make a decision on a play on the sideline and the play will show up on the sweatband of the quarterback in the huddle.  It's kind of like text messaging from the sideline.

Call it the "Brian Dawkins" rule, NFL owners are considering the creating a 5 to 7 day window before the start of free agency during which possibly slow the movement of players from team to team via free agency.

Company Logos On NFL Uniforms?

How do you like all of the logos on NASCAR autos and the drivers?  I hope you like it because you're going to eventually see in the NFL.  Right now the league will start out putting company logo on practice uniforms.
