Those title hopes were dashed as soon as the Mavs let Tyson Chandler, the very engine of their newfound defense, and J.J. Barea walk. The plan was, of course, [...]

Thursday evening Chris Paul was traded to the LA Lakers and it got me thinking about the state of the NBA and why anyone should even support such a league anymore. I consider myself a 4 for 4 guy and I’d love to see the 76ers actually have a chance at being a contender [...]

According to the NY Post, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban left a 20k tip for the wait staff at Miami’s Fountainebleau during the Mavs post game celebration. The total tab for the night was $110,000, the majority of the money was spent on a $90,000 bottle of Armand de Brignac Cuban bought for the Mav’s [...]

Talking, celebrating and predicting that you’re going to win seven NBA Championships before you’ve even won one is foolish. If you want to make yourself and your team hated throughout the country this is the thing to do.
It was an awful mistake that LeBron James is going to take some time to live down. [...]

For all intents and purposes, the Dallas Mavericks did what they were supposed to do – win one of two in Miami.
The Mavericks took advantage missed shots, poor shot selection and turnovers to rally back from a 15-point fourth quarter deficit to steal a 95-93 victory evening the NBA Finals series at one game apiece.
Dirk [...]

The first game of this year’s NBA Finals ended the same way the final games of the Heat-Bulls series concluded. It was a combination of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade down the stretch along with Miami’s suffocating defense, which left the Dallas Mavericks without air.
The result was a Heat 92-84 win and [...]

Bulls 6’4″ point guard Derrick Rose was supposed to be unstoppable. He was the league’s MVP, but he was shut down by 6’8″ LeBron James at the end of last night’s game.
I loved how one of the analysts had described James in the last couple of games. He said James became Magic [...]
