Earlier this evening, Los Angeles Kings general manager Dean Lombardi fired head coach Terry Murray. The Kings, sitting in 12th place in the Western Conference, have a 13-12-4 record and have dropped their last four games.

Flyers head coach Peter Laviolette has accomplished some impressive feats since taking over for John Stevens early in the season.
