I was saddened to hear that former NFL linebacker Junior Seau died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was found by his girlfriend in their Oceanside, California home with a wound to his chest area.
This was especially close to home for me, being he was a former USC linebacker.
This was a shock to every close [...]

There should be no celebrating by the Eagles offense after that 26-10 win over the Miami Dolphins. Yes they did put the ball into the end zone when they had their opportunities but neither the running game nor the passing game functioned smoothly. They can’t feel confident about their ability to move the football [...]

The Philadelphia Eagles enjoyed a successful trip down to Miami on Sunday, and picked up a 26-10 victory over the Dolphins. They overcame a slow start, and scored 24 unanswered points to take a commanding 24-7 point lead into the half. Juan Castillo’s defense turned in one of their stronger efforts [...]

One of the games this week is a game involving two teams in the middle of the playoff picture, (9-3) New Orleans Saints at the (7-5) Tennessee Titans. The other game is between the (4-7) Philadelphia Eagles and the (4-7) Miami Dolphins, as two coaches Andy Reid and Tony Sparano try to hang onto their [...]

Another Week, another win from Tim Tebow in the Broncos NFL version of spread offense. I highly doubt that this will work in the long run, but its good enough to work in the short-term. Tebow struggled during the game, but led an amazing game-winning drive where he had the Jets defense on their heels. [...]

It just bugs me when people constantly make assumptions every week, and accept these as truth based off one week. This is hard to do, as the NFL is always changing week to week. One week the Chiefs are good again, and the next week they get beat by a winless team at Arrowhead, [...]

There were quite a few surprises in the first week of meaningful football.
When ranking NFL teams in the preseason, it’s very difficult to remove the previous season out of the equation.
Because of that, quite a few teams either jumped up or dropped significantly after Week 1. While Indianapolis and Kansas City took huge nose dives, [...]

The Eagles have signed former Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown to a one-year contract. He’s expected to come in and backup the Birds starting running back, LeSean McCoy.
Brown was previously the second pick in the draft in 2005. He’s had some good years but he hasn’t been able to stay healthy. [...]

Do you think he’s ready to finally be traded? This trade has been talked about enough, finally let it happen.
