I don't care who said it, you can't ask your coach and players to lose. The only guy who is responsible for a team looking to the future rather than the present in the General Manager.
Billy King as the Sixers GM could have traded his veteran point guard and let young Louis Williams run the team. They would have lost more games but you would have had Mo Cheeks and his squad out there battling as hard as he could to win. Billy King would have said we're trying to build a team for the future and he would have been telling the truth.
