Last night was supposed to be a great night for television. I cooked some blackened salmon with my home made remoulade sauce and mango salsa. My friends were licking their lips. I didn't disappoint but the TV did. It was the final episode of The Sopranos, a popular series on HBO which I hadn't been intently following, but I wanted to check out this highly anticipated finale. You've got to be kidding me. Rather than write an ending, the writers just basically said "No mas" like Roberto Duran and walked off.
How can you pay some writers who did that? The writers for The Sopranos should give some money back. All of the people who let The Sopranos influence them to subscribe to HBO, should demand a refund. Like everybody else I thought something had happened to my television set or my cable connection. All I have to say to Tony Soprano and his bunch, "Get Lost".
And if that wasn't bad enough, the Cavs played most of that playoff game last night, like they were still nervous. I could see being nervous for awhile in the first game, but come on. The NBA was stupid to begin with for going up against the finale of The Sopranos but what everybody missed wasn't worth seeing.
The Phillies are nothing more than a tease. Let's be honest, everybody knows they're not going to the playoffs. How do you give up 17 runs to the Royals. Those 17 are probably a tenth of all the runs the Royals have scored all season.
