All I could do was laugh at what the Sixers did last night. The Sixers haven't drafted an All-Star player since they drafted Allen Iverson. They might as well let people win a lottery so they can make the picks for the team in the draft. It's a joke. They look at tons of tape and travel all over the place yet go out and draft the wrong people.
Let me be totally honest with, I don't know whether this kid Thaddeus Young can play . But neither do the Sixers and that's the problem. Billy King can make bad picks with players and coaches year after year but just because he's a nice guy and works well with the media, he never savagely attacked the way other players, coaches and front office people are treated here in Philly. Bottomline, it seems if you can kiss some butt well enough, you get a free pass here in Philly.
It's a shame that the Phillies are approaching their 10,000 loss , but if they're in first place when it happens nobody will care. They need to sweep the Mets and That will erase all the pain.
