The indictment against Vick tells how he and his co-conspirators gambled thousands of dollars on dogfights and executed dogs who weren't good fighters.
Throughout the indictment the witnesses tell with exacting details how Vick and the co-owners of Bad News Kennels ran an enterprise which bred pit bulls for the express purpose of dogfighting. They tested the dogs to make sure they were good fighters and executed the ones which weren't.
I'm not a lawyer but this seems to be a strong case against Vick. Legal expert Lester Munson lays out the legal situation for Vick and it's not very good. I'm sure the defense attorneys are going to focus on the credibility of the witnesses. One of the things that made me look troubling at Vick concerning these charges is the fact that it was a big money business. Somebody fronted major dollars to buy and take care of all these dogs. I wonder if they have evidence that Bad News Kennelz was selling any dogs. Normally wouldn't a breeder of dogs sell some of them. If some of these dogs weren't being sold then it's going to put Vick in a bad light.
Get ready for a long, strung out legal struggle.
