Hey G, I am the only person I know that tore his ACL three times! If I were Donovan I'd wear the brace until I was good and ready to take it off. Donovan's an athlete and a competitor, so if it's slowing him down and he no longer needs it, he's going to take it off. Everyone should just relax. This issue is more about a Big Red vs. 5 ego clash, not so much about the knee.

Later for ego clash, Donovan would be a fool to not do everything he can to take care of his knee. Andy normally is mum on injuries, he should quiet down in this case.

Questions abound about whether or not DMac needs to wear the brace and for how long. Personally, Carson Palmer wore it for the season last year and Daunte Culpepper has worn it, but not lately–I believe McNabb injury was not from a direct hit but a "Corrall Buckhalter" cut and he may be susceptible to weak or overused tendon issues in both legs. I would go with the McDavid brace for the injured knee and a less restrictive brace for the other. My gut feeling is that the other knee will also give it at some point. McNabb's intense weightlifting workout regiment and his total weight places a lot of wear on his joints.

Picking Up Michael Strahan?

G Cobb, rumor has it, that Michael Strahan, is staying out of camp, looking for a potential playoff team, to pick him up, he's supposely not happy in Giantland anymore… What a GREAT acquistition for the EAGLES… to make a huge jump for their defensive line… he obviously has a few years left to be a potentially strong DE..especially with the EAGLES program, where they rotate their defensive lines… it would actually prolong his career.. Please inform the EAGLES Brass, of the latest, and tell me what you think, this would do for the EAGLES Defensive front four…… this would be like recouping Reggie White, to come back and play for us… maybe God wants Michael in Philly….

Strahan plays the run better than any of the Eagles defensive ends. He would be a great pickup for the Birds.
