Holcomb Traded And Cuts Made

The Eagles have traded fourth string quarterback Kelly Holcomb to the Minnesota Vikings .  It's not a surprise that he's heading to the Vikings since Andy Reid and Brad Childress are buddies and try to help each other.

The team also placed DE Jerome McDougle (ruptured tricep tendon), RB Ryan Moats (fractured ankle fibula), and OL Stefan Rodgers (Lis Franc foot sprain) on the Injured Reserve list and released the following six players: K E.J. Cochrane, WR Dereck Faulkner, TE Kyle Hunt, WR Jermaine Jamison, S Chris Smith, and G Chris White.

The Eagles roster currently stands at 76 players. All NFL teams must cut down their rosters to 75 players by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28. Final roster cut downs to 53 players must take place by 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 1.
