The Eagles just signed veteran defensive tackle Kimo von Oelhoffen to a one-year contract Sunday and placed defensive tackle Ian Scott on the minor injured reserve list. The Birds will release Scott when he's deemed healthy.
Remember it was Kimo who hurt Carson Palmer when he hit him low on the side of his knee in a playoff game. Of course it was the year the Steelers went on to win the Super Bowl title that year. The DT was playing with the New York Jets this preseason before being released. I'm glad he was around to scrimmage against McNabb and the offense during the summer. The way he goes low on his quarterback sacks, he might have put Donovan out for the year.
